I kept reading this as "Cabby Girls" until I read the description ... wondered what that meant ... anyway. This is one of those situations where there's no reason a game shouldn't be on Steam, but I know that I myself would never buy it. I never know what to vote in those situations.

I love the fact that in the first video, the person looks like their going for hard mode, thinks about it then selects easy and yet still fails. The state of those menus jaysus.

Please download the demo and play it and see a kid playing it. We have put up a demo so that everyone can play it before voting/commenting.

The video is just to give you an idea. It does not exhibit the actual game play. Try out controlling the cabby gils player. It is not just clicking like in diner dash. You have to navigate the cabby gils with your mouse down - which helps the kids improve motor skills.

But please consider that the game contains more than 50 different characters. 50 different buildings. 10 different background level sceneries. more than 20 upgrades. 11 enemies with different attack modes. Sound effects for the slightest movements. More than 3 months of development have gone into this game. Different traps, bombs etc.,

Many modern special effects like bubble trails, bubble bursts, sparkles, reflection, sparkling glowing water effect have been used in the game.
Simplicity in game play and Cartoony style have been adopted since the game is for kids and not in order to reduce work/effort.

Honestly, I doubt fact it's a kids game is a good excuse for gameplay simplicity and primitively cartoony artstyle, so I'll pass on voting for this. Dunno how others, but I really dislike this attitude that kid games are the easier to make ones and don't require a lot of work put in them as "adult" tittles.

Yes we are planning a simpler android & IOS game with the same graphics. But Kids could find it difficult to play in mobile. So we have designed it for PC.
The game is made in Unity, so it can be easily ported to MAC, Android, IOS.

This had better support Linux, especially when it looks like THIS. And the art style is just unpolished, I don't think my children would like it anyway.

As for price, $5 is very steep considering you can get masterpieces like Counter-Strike at the same price. $2 at most.

If i were you, i would redesign the whole game. The colors and the style is just bad. Oh and i would rather move to the mobile gaming with the whole game. But that's just my opinion. Good luck guys.

Ok, updates and feedback ..

Even on 'kiddies' level the game is far too hard for young children unless the following two items are addressed :

1. Add a 'free-play' option WITHOUT a time limit that just lets the kids cab the fish around.
Time limit is WAY too short, before the kids even know whats going on the game has timed out.

2. Add a locational sensor as while controlling the fish you often get 'cab fish' appearing right in front of you. The child doesn't know they've picked one up, or if they have picked one up they don't know how to get around the one that's appeared, and then the game times out (see 1).

Positives : They love the graphics and sound and 'WANT' to play it ..
Negatives : .. but it's far too difficult in its current form.

Update and re-release please.

The images look cute but I'd resally suggest adding some animations to them.
Kids would love them if they moved and interacted.

I do think my kids would play this though, I'll drop it on their system and will let you know.

A decent 'kids games' for $2 to $5 is actually pretty good as there is a LOT of crap games out there aimed at kids that have a much higher asking price.
But that said, free is great and if it plays well you can always add micro-transctions to get extra levels and the like.
Many small kids will happily play the same levels over and over again though, so a 15 level limitation is not really an inhibitor, but as they get older they begin to notice the repitition and that's when expansions could be good.
But you'd also want to add new elements of game play into the expansions .. then you can class the game as 'assisting with motor skills' etc etc and get into the childcare / kindy market. Then you'll be organising ongoing income which is the place you wanna be :)

You should remove the 'Free To Play' tag from the genre if you're saying you'll be charging between $2 and $5.

To answer your question though, I wouldn't buy and I don't think the any younger relatives I know would bother playing it. They already have games that are more involved/sophisticated.

This is at best a free flash game, or of the quality. You might be able to mooch money from the incredibly naïve iOS market, but nowhere else.

I'd have to say 1-4 dollars, myself. This game looks like it would be great for kids, but even better in general as maybe an app for a phone. If it does end up successful I'd consider porting it over in some way.
