I can't see any difference. I subscribed and it says the mod was downloaded, but when i follow hadvar from helgen, i either walk too slow to keep up or run too fast and run him down.

in my opinion this should be in the Immersion category because yeah different people move at different rates but hey videogame immersion everybody needs to move the same if they are the same race xD

great job. snx

Does it still consider the walking speed difference between races? Or is EVERYONE standardized to same values?

And if i use other mods like dovakin speed, or just run faster, that still work?

This already annoyed me a lot in Oblivion, I couldn't believe it, when I noticed happening in Skyrim, too. What designer made such a stupid decision? Thanks a lot for this mod!

I really appreciate this mod. It seems simple but, to me, makes a big difference. It was annoying always having to wait on my followers.

No, I don't know. Try it, it should work if you're not using a controller.

Would you happen to know if this would work in-game with the ACE Balance Your Own Game mod from the Nexus?

I can't fix the problem with Xbox controllers. The plugin sets two variables, that's all. Is nothing magic.

I just switched to an Xbox controller and I have the same issue than Mist Rising. You should do something about that; even if speed is adjustable, it is annoying to have to constantly lower your speed if you don't want your follower to fall beind.

That screenshot says it all :) TY!

Why somebody would use this plugin with an Xbox controller? I don't have one and I never had, but the speed of the character cannot be adjusted? This plugin should be useful for players using keyboard, because they only have walk, run and sprint...
Mist Rising Jun 20, 2012 @ 5:53pm
Yes both the player and horse sprint are broken with the Xbox 360 controller using this mod. Keyboard is unaffected.
Wolfmark  [author] Jun 19, 2012 @ 3:21pm
Do you use a Xbox 360 controller?

My sprint is broken as well. I was thinking it was a problem with my controller at first, but I decided to look at mods. I'm staying favorited in case it gets fixed.

Great idea, trouble is I'm having the same problem as others with sprint breaking. Staying subscribed in case it gets fixed.

This lite version only sets fFastWalkInterpolationBetweenWalkAndRun to 0 and fJogInterpolationBetweenWalkAndRun to 1. You can achieve same result using setgs console command. I don't know why it breaks the sprint for you because should not be used for player, only for NPCs, and should be used only for fast walk and jog speeds. Maybe I'm missing something, but for me it works ok. And I would assume that there would be more complains if this really was a problem, but probably in your case is a conflict or something like this.

breaks player sprint........unsubscribed
Gun Mage Feb 14, 2012 @ 7:17pm
Downloaded lite, mod disabled sprinting.
Wolfmark  [author] Feb 14, 2012 @ 4:27am
Yes, it does. For example if the walk speed is 80.10 (the default value), then wood elf males (the smallest) will actually have 78-79, while high elves (the tallest) will have 85-86 (if I remember correctly). The maximum difference is not too big, but this only if you use the default speeds. If you increase the walk speed with 75% for example, then the difference also is increased with almost same percent.

Does the height of characters make a difference? Ofc I understand that a smaller person must walk faster to keep the pace of a taller one, but does the game work that way? In any case, thanks!

omg thank you!!!
