I really like this mod. Now at any level, I can have aesthetically pleasing bows and arrows (because, let's be honest, dwarven bows and arrows are hella ugly). The glow of missed arrows is a very nice touch.

@PiggyProdigy K but for the record my mods are really strightforward. I don't touch anything from the vanilla content. I just add to whats there already. you can add and delete my mods without any advers effects other than you will lose the items in your inventory.

@UberSmaug Oh that makes sense and no i dont cause i already started a game and got really far and if i download mods and try to play them in a current game they wont load functionally

@PiggyProdigy you will need to unlock them through the smithing perk tree only garnet will be craftable untill then and be located in the Iron catigory. Are you subscribed to all the diamond smithing packs?

I don't know why but i started a new game and everything but the bows and arrows wont show up in my forges

@xxspyvsspyxx try disabling all mods except this one and see if the the problem persists. If yes delete and re-download this mod. If no and if you have any mods that are crafting overhauls troubleshoot them first by turning them on and checking again. Continue turning on mods a few at a time until you can pinpoint where the issue starts.

Hello. I have been trying to create the enchanted diamond arrows/bolts, and while the firewood and diamond components are recognized, unfortunately it doesn't recognize the void salts needed to craft them. I tried deleting mods, reorganizing the entire jewel smithing mod sit to load earlier, and checking the integrity of the game cache. Would anyone have any suggestions as to how I'd fix this problem? Thanks.

why is there not fire diamond arrow?

Are unenchanted gem arrows supposed to do anything? mine don't do anything special, they're just expensive arrows that glow

@yellowjacket147eddie ????. Each pack can be used independently from one another if the problem is just with the arrows you only need to reinstall the achery mod. Specifically what items are not showing. are all the arrows broken in the same way or just one type like say only enchanted diamond arrows.

@yellowjacker147eddie is it all the arrows or just one in particular. Sounds like your download is incomplet. try deleting and redownloading making sure you give the mod time to completly install before you launch the game. Intrupting the download may cause file corruption or missing files. In your case it seems you are missing the projectile file(s). I would expect this to be limited to just one arrow type or maybe a hand full of them but not all of them tho it is posible. If it contiues after a clean install there may be another mod causeing a conflict. I would start by troubleshooting any that alter spell fx.

The arrows don't show when I try to shoot them and they don't do damage

@2ndcollins at any forge, all arrows are in the misc category. Bows are linked to the perk that unlocks them and can be found in their corresponding category at the forge

how do you craft them?

I am putting this chalenge out for any one who makes weapons mods, make a khopesh sword mod and put it on steam, you don't have to do it its just an idea. do not reply I will know if you excetpt this chalenge or not.

@Gahlak It is and with the greater upload limit on Nexus I packed everything a little different. All weapons are in "Diamond Weapon Smithing", and likewise all armor is in "Diamond Armor Smithing". (Crossbows are an optional file for dawnguard users only.) Just serch for files by "UberSmaug"

This mod is quite interesting, why don't you upload it to the nexus mod comunity so it can be used with the mod manager? It's better to not mix load orders, so it would be helpful. www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/

@Sgt. Stampe Saddly I don't have the scripting skills to make it work like that. Maybe I could revers enginer it from the spell casting, seems like it should be posible I'm just not a programer so wouldn't know were to start. Im just working within the vannilla scripting so I simply edited the projectile models and gave them some spell effects. The screenshots are taken just as the arrow is fired

In your pictures the arrow glows when drawn, but when I use your mod the enchanted arrows only glow after they are fired, what could the issue be?

Found an issue with your mod. I'm using the requiem mod, and it doesn't change your arrows stats so they're too weak to be worth using.

@sapje16 The arrows exist in two states. As ammo, such as when in your inventory or dropped in the world. Or as a projectile, spell effects are applied to the projectiles only, which are spawned and swapped for the ammo model when you fire the arrow. The screenshots are taken very quickly after releasing the bow. Ideally, I too would like the effect to start once the bow is drawn but I'm not much of a programmer and lack the scripting skills to do so. You would need some way to identify when the bow was at full draw, and add a third arrow state for that instance. I'm not even sure the CK or Engine would allow for that, at least not without modifications beyond my knowledge.
