All I want for my vampire is a speech bonus, faster run speed and waterbreathing at stage one cause it's kinda crap unless you use sneak or illusion. Thanks for making part of my dream come true without giving me 3 new spells, 8 other buff changes and an overhaul of how they feed. Sometimes a simple change is best.

The restoration idea I was toying with but it makes it a bit tricky with the player too possibly being a vampire, that infliction can be annoying enough without your means of healing possibly removed. The only way to balance that would require a complete overhaul of the vampire system which a couple of promising mods are already doing, and I neither want to compete against or unintentionally make myself incompatible with them. This mod is aimed purely towards what the name suggests and no more.

You make some good points there, I'll see if I can go in and differentiate between them a bit more. There's also a mod out there that yields additional bonuses for eating food that made me think about negating all positive food buffs if you're a vampire.

Agree with everything except the Soul Trap. Simple skeletons and zombies are probably animated husks, but Draugr, Vampires, Dragon Priests and other intelligent undead should retain their souls. They have a will of their own and are able to use things like Dragon Shouts and spells they remember in their past life.

Another cool idea would be having Restoration healing spells/potions damage undead instead of heal Final Fantasy style.
