I'll give it a go.

Great mod! The staff clips a bit with other clothes except robes, but really great otherwise. Not underwhelming or op
Móðsognir Jun 15, 2021 @ 12:58am
Nice mod, but I can't help but wish that you had included at least one wood staff that included one or more soul gems visible on the end that was a fully up-gradable melee weapon that could be enchanted. Maybe even a light source. I certainly recall seeing Gandalf welding his staff like a melee weapon.
Krusnik Mar 23, 2021 @ 12:04pm
Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for.
Ceph Oct 30, 2019 @ 11:27am
Great mod! Very Satisfied

Dragon bone sounds lovely. Like I would love to bludgeon a dragon to death with his cousins bones... I mean I could do that anyways cause dawn-guard dragon bone warhammers; but it seems like the quarterstaves swing faster than warhammers, which makes total sense because they are lighter in weight. So yeah, let me bludgeon the dragons with the bones of their brethren.

I love it.
IXIconnar Oct 29, 2017 @ 5:47am
would go great with a quarterstaff animation for combat.
Moonjunk Jul 6, 2017 @ 6:20am
(Dead Keys On My Keyboard) It doesnt turn up at any for_e, t_e wooden one. I _ave 4 firewood in my inventory, but i cant craft it
Erebus Moth Oct 19, 2016 @ 12:28pm
so i mean like, let's just say someone just murdered a cave demon and was granted immortality by practicing ancient methods.
on a scale from one to ten would this be useful for a monkey.
asking for a friend
Xayte Aug 2, 2016 @ 11:35pm
i'd love to see a dragonbone staff
pheonixwolfgirl Jun 4, 2016 @ 8:51am
Make a dragonbone staff please! :)
Moon Indigo Jan 29, 2016 @ 1:34pm
For anybody wondering, European quarterstaffs were held in a manner similar to spears or halberds, being swung or thrust. The idea of holding quarterstaffs with both thumbs towards the center is more modern and not native to historical European quarterstaff fighting.
Werde Spinner Dec 15, 2015 @ 10:10am
Excellent. Now I can carry a big stick, speak softly (or Shout, lol), and still go far. A Dragonbone staff would complete the awesomeness; please consider it!
LostSon Nov 7, 2015 @ 4:41pm
I just used the daedric quarterstaff, and i have no idea why, but it just decapitated someone. Dont change it cuz i want the enemy to know i defy logic and physics.
Captainzulas Sep 26, 2015 @ 8:47am
Can't wait for leveled lists, if it ever happens. That's my favorite part of your generic armors.
Jayfeather Jul 13, 2015 @ 3:54pm
was literally thinking about this only hours ago, wish it functioned like an actual quarterstaff, but that would be quite a lot of work, so good job!
bellofury May 20, 2015 @ 10:05am
I don't believe that mods adding differing items of the same name would conflict, as they would have different item codes (The thing you get in the console when typing something like 'help "Steel Armor"').

Great work!
Laird_Ravencroft May 20, 2015 @ 7:44am
You ever gonna do a Dragonbone staff?? If you, then it would be megawesomeness :D this mod is brill
Alizarin Feb 7, 2015 @ 8:46pm
nice work jezzibal
Gol Zin Viing Oct 1, 2014 @ 9:09am
Hopefully there is a Dragonbone Staff....I like to use one of these to chatsize misbehaving Dovah.
Solanne Sep 30, 2014 @ 10:01pm
Maybe shorten it a bit, change the kill animation sounds and add one handed staffs.:windhelm:
Ráider Sep 16, 2014 @ 9:18am
looks ok but thats not how a quarter staff is used..... it is a weapon for speed and agillity not a axe or hammer
Frosty Sep 12, 2014 @ 4:02pm
I've looked for a good staff weapon mod that didn't involve magic. This one is by far the best.
Hermitthefrog Aug 7, 2014 @ 9:18am
@JZBai its good but the finishing moves are cazy wack like a hammer
ChronicAxis Jul 27, 2014 @ 11:44am
this weapon has a great reach though.
ChronicAxis Jul 27, 2014 @ 11:43am
add stalhrim, bonemould, chitin, nordic, ancient nordic, and perhaps iron?
Merilirem Jun 22, 2014 @ 3:31am
Pointless without its own animation which is the point of this type of weapon. Nice start though
el Cheeto Jun 5, 2014 @ 8:07pm
um anyone know a mod that changes the players fighting style to look awesome with this on Workshop?
paizuriprincess Jun 1, 2014 @ 11:16am
I like this mod. I favorite this mod. The only complaint I have is when I am using the wooden or non-metal ones and I still get that clanging of metal on metal sound.
Zumoku May 11, 2014 @ 9:36am
awesome mod!!
Robinsenpai Apr 3, 2014 @ 1:09pm
Other than All that nordic stuff, how about something realistic -_- How about a faster swing? Maby you could also have a set of gear tagged along? Ninja gear? Huh?
JeeZee Mar 19, 2014 @ 2:25pm
great, awsome face and so on but NEEDZ DRAGON BONE, DRAGON PLATE, NORDIC, STAHLRIM!
UsurperMacbeth Mar 15, 2014 @ 8:02am
DragonBone! DragonBone! Sthalrim! Sthalrim! Nordic! Nordic! And So On! And So On!
Jonesy Fox Mar 8, 2014 @ 2:17pm
This is a great mod. My Khajit unarmed monk was too fragile with only fortify unarmed enchantment to up his damage. Now I have this lore friendly, beautiful mod to help him out. Thanks!!
QLight Feb 20, 2014 @ 8:33am
you have no idea how long i have looked for one of these mods, Thanks for the mod :D
Ched Flanders Feb 15, 2014 @ 5:53am
I love this mod, the staff has always been my favourite weapon :D It'd be really useful to have a dragonbone staff now that I have dawnguard, so it'd be great if you could make that happen.
Ven Dec 11, 2013 @ 3:44pm
Awesome looking staves! I can confirm this does not conflict with PrivateEye's Heavy Armory mod and it still allows you to craft both staves. :riften:
JZBai  [author] Nov 25, 2013 @ 3:11pm
@mbarrett90.mb: You would need NifSkope to modify that. Just open the weapon's nif file in NifSkope and delete the blood object on the weapon and it shouldn't bleed in game.
mbarrett90.mb Nov 25, 2013 @ 6:17am
Is there any way to modify a weapon so that it doesn't shed blood???
Sunder Jul 4, 2013 @ 2:15pm
You people complain too much, what matters is that it is BIG FREAKING STICK, and you get to beat people with it.
Lasting Jun 8, 2013 @ 7:08am
dude..if its as fast as a warhammer or waraxe thats bull it would be much faster just think how fast you could whip and spin and attack with a 6 pound peice of wood?!
Chritonic Jun 4, 2013 @ 4:14pm
Does it fight like a war axe because if so, that is not a quarterstaff. You would use a quarterstaff like you would a martial arts staff; a Bo. That, my good sir, is a TRUE quarterstaff.
obscurelyerudite May 25, 2013 @ 9:12pm
That, my good sir, is a quarterstaff.
kimical Apr 12, 2013 @ 4:24pm
Please release a Dragonbone Quarterstaff, I would like it, this mod is simply perfect.
Heinleine Apr 11, 2013 @ 5:08pm
oh sorry nice mod : {)
Heinleine Apr 11, 2013 @ 5:07pm
you could give this weapon its own perk line. maybe a stager effect or something?
YetiZach Mar 18, 2013 @ 6:50pm
So this uses Warhammer perks correct?
Rykarn Jan 25, 2013 @ 2:33am
maybe a bladed staff would be good?
calemyr Jan 18, 2013 @ 4:48pm
I'm hoping for the dragonbone, myself. This is a fantastic mod for people who want to play mages or monks (mage here). It's just a shame that all the good weapons are generally on the heavy side.
