Anyone else having an issue with the wedding ceremony breaking after you say I do?

After marrying him, just for fun, I told him we'd live at his house. But... where is his house?

@ red angel, when you get married wether you usign a marriage mod or not, , , you need to give them a day or so to get home they "walk"and attack thing on the way so taking twice as long to get home, if you spoke to them at the wedding and told where your living,
I would also suggest you might want to use use marrigae mods like to have and to hold, to stop them walking out ofter the ceromony, n such ;p

anyone else have a problem with him disappearing after marrying him? I've looked all over for him, and he's not where I found him, nor is he anywhere in or around riften, he just disappears as soon as he leaves the temple

but yes when making male char mods you tend to make look liike some dream male you'd like to meet on the street ;p lol yes he is nice looking

LOL I'm a woman too. The fuglies in Skyrim are the reason I created the male followers. As far as the "dirty things", check the Nexus for mods. They might have what you're looking for. Thank Talos for mods! :D

Mmmmm..... he's one of the yummiest looking male players in the game. It's refreshing to see a mod developer that makes male followers as I am a woman who like playing female chracters and the men in Skyrim tend to be fugly. That's why in my last game I ended up going lesbo with my character (before I ever used mods) and married Jenessa, who, while is very fugly, was a bad ass companion. This time however, I am going to pick the hottest guy in the game and I do think that Aeroth may be the one. Now if there was only a mod that would let me do dirty things to him, I would be soooo happy. ; )

I'd like to mention after readu peoples post about marriageble vollowers walking aff mid to near end of the maffiage ceromony, there is a very nice mod called "to have and to hole "that stops this amd has a small quest attached to it , for all the ones who dont want their spouses walking off and loosing them somewhere. -- just saying - ,,,, hope you dont mind jell..

Thanks, for getting back so quickly. I never actually appointed a steward. All the followers I have except Aeroth give the option to become my steward or approch me and say they will do it. In reading various forums this is a bug in Hearthfire that appears on some followers. Just so happens to be on the one I want lol. I installed the unoffical patch hoping that would work, deleated Aeroth, resubscribed, etc. Oh well, he is a great mod and the problem I'm having is unrelated to your hard work. If anyone knows how to fix this bug let me know! Thanks again for the great followers you've given us.

There should be no difference between the two of them as far as steward is concerned. Did you dismiss Nikolai from being steward of your home? Not sure what could be the problem other than the game thinking you already have a steward.

Hi there. I first used your Nikolai follower and then tried this one. He seams to work better for me than Nikolai and wanted to use him as my steward. Nikolai gives me the dialogue so he can be steward, but Aeroth does not. Is he able to do this or do I have some conflict? I've tried various unsubscribing and different loading of data files but this has not fixed the issue (if there is one). Thanks.

OK then..how long before this guy pops the question when you are wearing an amulet of Mara? My character has been wearing it for the second game day(for me) lots of days passd in game, lots of quests, went to the temple of Mara...no joy. I get the option of..Interested in me are you? But HE does not make any kind of comment that would cause me to respond that way. And he does not ride the horse I bought him..BAAWWWW

I love this follower! Great job, he is a cutey. Any custom dialogue would be great, not too mushy, maybe optional, so guys don;t get grossed out?? I haven;t married yet, so I haven't heard his marriage dialogue. I keep my spouse as a follower, and the last one kept his vanilla dialogue, mostly. No spouse dialogue as a follower, I meant.

i kind of agree with ewelsmore....lol looking fore standalone custom male marriable followers, but still want lore friendly. if there is custom diologue as well, all the better! any tips? it must be on steam, tho.

WOW! Can we say love at first sight and fight. He saved my butt a few times when I played while tired.{ Not recommended. Good way to mess yourself and your game up if you forgot to save } TY for making him but can you add some affectionate dialog such as kiss me love, I love you. That kind of thing if possible pls.

That's the armor he has in his inventory, but you can remove it and give him something else.

I like the follower background and character, but don't like the armor he has on. So, my question is, am I able to change his armor? If it can be changed, I'll subscribe to this mod.

I haven't seen him in Rorikstead. I'll have to look today. Might have been the Ailkr that distracted me, but I don't remember seeing him. Wonder if it's a load order issue.

Once I subscribed to Willow I could not get this character, Elissa Gaerhart or Anya Ashcroft to follow me even though they said they would. SO; they will be the other two I will be unsubscribing to and I will just keep Willow. Thanks anyway.

I really love having him as my follower, he is a powerful mage and fun to travel with :) I also love that you increased his speed, makes it sooo much better when travelling (if you don't have the "Follower Keep Up" mod, which I do not).

I also had the problem where he would walk away from me when I married him. What I had to do was break what the priest was saying by hitting the 'ESC' key a few times until it "released" me so I could run over to Aeroth and hail him before he zoned out.

In my opinion I think they should let the player say their lines first so this does not happen.

You seem to churn these follower mods out effortlessly. Requesting a barbarian beserker using the buffed out sailor who drinks at the inn in Dawnstar or is it Morthal? That vanilla NPC has the best physiology in the game! Your considerations appreciated.

I've used that method before so I know it works but I don't have any previous saves with him in them before the wedding disappearance. Is there any other way to get the ID?

I've tried going to Rorikstead on other character's saves but Aeroth is nowhere to be found on those saves for some reason. Uninstalling/reinstalling the mod doesn't seem to do anything to reset him either.This is what I get for keeping a clean and organized save list I guess lol XD sorry for all the the trouble.. this is turning into a headache.

I know this has worked before:
Save your game.
Reload a game where your follower is with you.

Now open the console with the `/~ key on your keyboard.Click on your follower, and it should display their ID in brackets. For instance, with Erandur it displayed: " (00024280). Write this number down.

Reload your current game (the one where you're looking for your follower), and open the console again.
Type in 'prid putfolloweridhere' (selects any object in the game)
Hit enter.
Followed by 'moveto player' (moves that object to your location)
Then hit enter, and they should be moved to you. Close the console again by pressing the `/~ key.

Example: to move Erandur to your location:
Type: `
Type: prid 00024280 (enter)
Type: moveto player (enter)
Type: `
Erandur will appear next to you.

Followers moved with this method will still have all their items etc from last time you saw them.

After marrying this guy to my female character he walked about three feet and then disappeared and now I can't find him anywhere. Been searching for almost 2 weeks (in game time of course)... any tips on where to find him? I've tried Rorikstead, my only home on this save is Windstad Manor and he isn't in either place. The only mods I have are for followers, none add places... so I'm confused lol.

On a positive note once I *do* find him, he's an awesome follower. I had just reached the level for dragon scale armor on this character so having a follower who can hold his own and not die every time something sneezes in his direction is nice. Thanks!
