Both Dragonbone Crossbows both normal and enhanced can be improved.
Both Nord Hero Crossbows both normal and enhanced can be improved.
Moved normal Dragonbone Bolts to the dragon category.

Overall:

= Big update all files used will be updated. Did a lot of work on how skyrim recognizes longbows so an update across the board is required. Does not change game play.

Longbows Updates:

= Nord Hero Longbow no longer has a level requirement. still requires skyforging perk.

Longbows Perks:

= Found some minor bugs while I was going through it and fixed them.

Longbows and Crossbows:

= Fixed ebony bolts mesh they looked like orcish bolts.
= Added silver bolts and silver arrows that are craftable after completing the dawnguard quest side of dawnguard. Basically when you get your forge.
= Agents of Stendarr, Dawnguard soldiers and the silver hand now will use silver bolts and silver arrows and can be looted off them. So if your undead lookout.

YOUR LONGBOWS:

So if you want to create your very own longbow for this mod or alter one to act as a longbow. Simply open the creation kit then open your new or existing bow, then add the keyword Mothnest2 to the keyword section on the right. Then save and it will now count as a longbow in my mod without making my mod a master file. I'm finishing up on a excel file that will allow you to convert bow stats to longbow stats as a best practice method.

I doubt anyone will use this, but there you go. I post a link when it’s complete.

4.71 - Crossbows can now be crafted at any forge. crafting them at the Dawnguard castle will require less ingredients then if you craft them at a standard forge. Dwarven crossbows are still uncraftable until the blue prints are found for the Dawnguard quest line. Enhanced Crossbows are still locked to the Dawnguard side quest line.

4.7 - Added support for other modders crossbows. Now you can download other crossbow mods and they will work with this mods perk tree.

4.69 - So by completing the Dawnguard quests you can craft exploding fire, ice, and shock bolts for steel and dwarven bolts. I felt this unfair to bows so I added by completing the same quests you can also craft steel and dwarven exploding arrows.

4.6 - This is an optional update. I used DJjojo's Meshes from his Crossbow Collection to make a new perk tree that separates Bows, Crossbows, and Longbows into their own perk trees. I will update the main page as soon as I can. Beware the crossbows addon requires Dawnguard, Dragonborn, Longbows Dawnguard expansion, and Longbows Dragonborn expansion. Since I had to add a keyword to the crossbows to separate them from Longbows and Bows any other mod that adds crossbows will not work with this perk tree and will be counted as bows.

I made a lot of changes to crossbows to make them feel balanced within skyrim. So Longbows are distance damage. Bows act like shortbows and are to be used in close range. Crossbows focus more on armor penetration in this mod.

Gaining the dwarven diagrams in the dawnguard quests will allow you to make Enhanced versions of all the crossbows, but I had to lower the damage for the steel and dwarven crossbow since a orcish, elven, ebony, daedric, and dragonbone crossbows now exist.

If you do use it feedback is always appropriated as long as its constructive.

4.65 - This is a minor update. I felt the Bandits\Silver Hand get crossbows WAY to often so I reduce the chances of them getting a crossbow. I also found to many draugr chests containing crossbows and bolts which is weird since they didn't have them in the past. So I also reduced the chances of draugr loot containing crossbows and ammo.
