The sword has been relocated within Labyrinthian once again, this time it's been moved to an earlier section of the ruin.

The sword now has a description.

Update: Sep 27, 2015 @ 3:23pm

The Infinity Sword has been given a total makeover. The sword now has a completely new mesh and textures and its visual effects have been completely redesigned, so no more flat, poopy gradients! The sword gets a trail effect too for added zing

When you go to get it at Labyrinthian, you now get the 2-handed version rather than the 1-handed. This really is how it should've been from the get-go, but I used the 1-hander for whatever reason. This doesn't change the ability to grip-switch the sword at a smelter (though it does mean you may be able to get a second Infinity Sword if you already obtained it). The sword's location in Labyrinthian has been changed too, it's no longer in the arena with Morokei, but instead in the area where you fight that Thalmor doofus.

There's now a size difference between the 1 and 2 handed versions. While it's the same mesh, the 2-handed version is bigger.

The sword's effects have been reworked some. With it equipped, you're resistant to fire as before, but fire-based attacks will do less damage now, and also any fire-based attacks *you* perform have a damage boost.

The sword now has a unique effect. Normally when you power attack you spew off a pretty reasonably powerful fireball, but if you get hit by enough fire-based attacks, the sword will supercharge and launch a fire *wave* that's more powerful and covers a larger area with its explosion. Your localized blasts will also be more powerful and cover more ground. After performing the power attack, though, the power level will reset and you'll need to soup it back up again, so use it wisely.

The sword now doesn't have a percentage chance to disintegrate. Instead, the sword will disintegrate foes at high power levels, except for dragons. This doesn't reduce the power level. Dwarven constructs are included in this, and when slain will fall into a pool of molten metal. The sword also has a withering effect, Entropic Drain, which drains the target's health and stamina over time. The sword will also explode when striking dragons at high power levels.

Pulled the sword out of the ledge, disabled Don't Havoc Settle and laid it out on the ledge instead. If this doesn't resolve the issue of it not being there then there's really nothing else I can do.

Completely yanked the sword out of it's original position and stuck it into a ledge behind the slaughterfish pond's waterfall. Hopefully, this should nip the missing sword issue in the bud.

Cleaned the mod with TES5Edit, hopefully this should clear up the "sword's not there!" issues, and possibly issues with the power attack powers not working.

Tweaked the position of the sword a bit, raising it a little off the ground so it (hopefully) has less of a chance of falling through the floor (which, really, it shouldn't be doing at all due to the havoc settle being turned off. Silly thing). I also set it so it's ignored by AI, in case the problem is also due to the sword basically being stolen by followers or just dudes. Probably unlikely this is actually an issue, but I felt it couldn't hurt.
