Huntress Leara Frey

The Huntress Leara Frey is a combat ranger. She's armed with an ebony bow, Nord hero arrows and 2 steel skyforge war axes. She also wears the Princess of the Woods armour, with cloak and a leatherback pack which increases her carry capacity

You can recruit her from the sleeping giant inn, Riverwood.

What might be a surprise to some is that leara is a Breton. She doesn't have the same affinity for magic as her brethren and so took to hunting in the landscapes of Skyrim.

The last 3 screenshots are of my player character which leara has been modeled on. Leara doesn't have multiple weapons showing.

Requirements:

You will need the Apache Sky Hair mod from Skyrim nexus to use this mod, otherwise her hair will be an odd blue, missing textures, color or, as in some instances in the comments, you game may fail to load entirely with this mod subscribed.

Known Issues

This mod is now compatible with UFO - Ultimate Follower OverHaul.[skyrim.nexusmods.com]

However, Users will need to uninstall UFO, start skyrim using the default launcher, close it, reinstall UFO then start Skyrim normally.
In addition, users who do not have or use the UFO - Ultimate Follower OverHaul.[skyrim.nexusmods.com] mod will need to remove the default Hunting Bow from Learas Inventory whilst in-game for her to use the Ebony Bow she has.

(ps, I installed the face pack from this mod, but, it caused issues with the CK and changing face textures, so I un-installed, but kept the body. It also comes with two nifty tools - The body slider, so you can set the weight of you own characters at will and a handy tool to delete the neck seams body and face texture mis-match issue.)

A very good and highly recommended tool - I don't fully understand it, however, it checks, fixes and compresses textures to improve performance. It had a noticeable effect on my fps and seems to have eliminated alot of the stuttering problems I had since installing the High res texture packs.

Future plans:

I'd like to create and area for leara, maybe like a wood cabin or a camp site, so that I can move her there as opposed to just being available to recruit in the sleeping giant inn. I'd also like to know or look into scripting for her. Removing cloak and or hood when she goes in doors, and puts it back on when she goes outside. Also, wearing and displaying multiple weapons at once. If anybody has information, suggestions, tips on how to do this, please let me know.

I'm also open to suggestions and please let me know if you have any problems or issues with this mod and I will look into it. Enjoy - Rate it if you like it :)
