The Sower of Discord - Stealthy Frenzy Lesser Power

Beskrivning
BRIEF: A simple, minimalist, lesser power which can ‘frenzy’ any target at any distance. It is stealthy and has no projectile. To use the power on a target you simply put the crosshair over them and press your powers button. Simple, stealthy, effective and fun, perfect for assassinations.

What could be more fun than getting the town guard to eliminate your assassination targets for you? With this simple and effective lesser power, that is exactly what you can do!

You can cause anyone you desire to go on a rampage (causing everyone to retaliate), whilst remaining hidden far away, enjoying the chaos.

WHAT IT IS:

This mod adds the “Sower of Discord” Lesser Power to the game. This is an effective tool for any assassin as it stealthily ‘frenzies’ any target of any level and can be used at a large distance.

It has no projectile like most spells do. Instead all you need to do is hover your crosshair over the target and fire the power and it will take effect immediately.

The power is found inside the Falkreath Dark Brotherhood sanctuary written on a bloodstained note resting on a barrel. The pictures show where.

Everything you need to know about this power:

- As it is a lesser power it can be used as many times a day as necessary with no cost.

- The power can frenzy any target, even targets that normally cannot be frenzied such as dwarven machines, daedra, zombies etc.

- The power works on any targets of any level.

- As stated before, it has no projectile. Just hover your crosshair over and fire.*

- It works at almost an unlimited distance. As long as you can see your target you will be able to use the power on them.**

- Using the power is NOT counted as an attack. The target will still become hostile towards you though (obviously :P )

- The sound effect you hear will be louder the closer you are to your target. So if you don’t hear it then it’s not broken, you are probably just too far away.

- This mod is aimed at people who are doing the Dark Brotherhood questline, however it is usable by anyone.

- As the power is located in the DB sanctuary you will need to either join or destroy the brotherhood to get it.

- It has a ‘silent’ sound level. This means you will not become detected when you use it.

*sometimes is can be difficult to target a person as the power is often quite particular of where you place your crosshair. This becomes more of a problem the further you are away from your target as the will appear smaller compared to the crosshair. Usually aiming for the upper torso is your best bet.

**The power is unlikely to work if you are viewing your target through a transparent object. This also includes things like trees, water, hanging moss etc. You need a clear view of them with nothing in your way.

Enjoy!

Kill well, and often.

I love TheGreyLight spell pack. many redeeming features, my probable favorite being the no level cap.

In response to the recent changes to steam which allow creators to charge for mods:

To be honest im really dissapointed. One of the best things about modding is that it was free and available to everyone. It is was community creating imaginitive content for other people to enjoy. There were no restrains to what could be done. It was such a special thing for me as a creator to share my little piece of the world with everyone, and paying for mods really ruins it.

I can understand why steam would think that this would be beneficial for the creators. Supporting creators for thier works seems like a good idea in theory. But it isnt about the money, its about the joy of creating, and having others experience your creation...

...I always used to get so much excitement from viewing the front page, and looking at all of the amazing content everyone has created. All of it free and available for everyone to enjoy. Soon it will just be a wall full of numbers and closed doors. It will be a dissapointment, looking at all the content you could have if you were richer. These days it seems like every game is becoming pay to play.

Modding should be free. If you really want to support creators steam, have an ad show before download. This way the content is still free, and creator still get a bit of money for their work. Monitzation is going to kill this community. It will suck all the life and joy out of modding for everyone.

Even though im not actively creating mods anymore, all of my mods will remain free forever. Im really sorry this has happened, an I wish it werent the case.

Neat power but having essential characters fight each other means one is just knocked to his or her knees and nobody dies.....My PC is Drachis Argonian and as such he feels no compulsion to take part in the Civil war....I was hoping to get the Stormcloaks to take care of themselves....But ...oh well....it did get rifd of a few of the lesser important Stoemcloaks....I'd love to just lock Tulius, Ulfric, Rikke, and Galmar into a room and have them battlre it out...a mod somethiing like the Destroy the thieves guild/dark Brotherhood where you essentially avoid the whole questline. Great Mod!
