Eight Rooms

Descripción
Everyone of us has dreams sometimes. Someone has a dreams about clocks and other ordinary things, and someone has a nightmares. Bad dreams that scare, make you flounce in a bed sweating your pillow and then wake up with strong heart-beating and feeling of defenselessness. You can neither sleep nor stand up - both scare you. Then merciful dream usually comes and you finally sleep till alarm rings... feeling your wet pillow and understanding it can come again. Almost everybody has nightmares: men and women, children and old men, braves and cowards. And sometimes in a nightmare you even understand that this is a dream. Someone can even wake up, "running away" from scaring things. Ones bite their own hand or tweak themselves, others shout loudly "I AM DREAMING" or just concentrate on awaking and finding themselves in their sweet bed.
But what if you can't wake up?

Inspired by Silent Hill 4.

To be fair, there were a few moments that were unnerving, such as these red guys coming out of the darkness in Prison, and the rapid breathing of the Kamikazes in Winter also was chilling, it's subtle things like that I want from a Serious Sam Horror Mod; just unnerving things while still being as fun to play as the core game, so to say.

About the motion blur thing, I kind of got used to it, and it kinda helped with making me feel vulnerable, but then because it was so strong, I did not saw the map to get into the labyrinth and was stuck on it for 2 days, and I kept getting stuck in the elevator in the Hotel as I had to reload a lot of times, I kept losing my way as everything looked the same. Again, keep it somewhat focused to the usual Serious Sam gameplay, to an extent, but have all of this unnerving shit that I've brought up, that'd be so cool.

This mod is a challenge campaign you might want to skip. There's a near-constant motion blur that I assume is meant to set a spooky tone and increase the tension but mostly is just annoying. The music works and some of the levels are kind of cool like Mountains and Heaven, but they're an exception; the rest are a challenge but not really fun. Overall average difficulty on Normal with infinite ammo.

This seems like good mod, but unfortunately motion blur makes it literally unplayable

i cant play this, that motion blur triggers me way too much. iv been in (i think level 2) tunels, and thanks to blur i no recognize that i have to turn and thing like big white face with japan like eyes kills me. remove motion blur please, itl be better playable.

Отличный мод!
Очень похоже не на сон, а на АД... (нечёткое зрение, фантасстические, нереальные вещи, способности врагов, как махать руками со скоростью вентилятора, жесть)
Этот мод вызвал чувство страха, какого я уже очень давно не испытывал
Играл на "сэме", и признаю, в некоторых битвах не смог вообще никак выжить, спасли чит-коды.

П.С. если хотите максимального эффекта - представьте, что вы в аду, у вас только 1 жизнь, каждый шаг с осторожностью (но где-то придётся бежать сломя голову), (конечно, делайте сохранения),
