But yes, a mod conflict does seem to be the most likely culprit.
I just wanted to double check I wasn't typing in the wrong name like an idiot (especially since the Sallet works - and looks glorious!)
Yes and no offence - as I do hate stating the obvious - but it sounds like it either hasn't installed properly or you're running another mod that is somehow conflicting with it.... Either that or myself and the other 3,000+ people who have it running perfectly fine and even cheated the items into the game following the advice given in this thread are all part of some kind of crazy conspiracy against you, which would be extremely unlikely. :)
Try Unsubbing and Resubbing to it again and see if that fixes it, typing help in the console then the item names should bounce back the desired results of all the items in-game that have that name included in it (typing "help armet 0" or "help hounskull 0" should result in it showing you BARSteelHounskullAA or BARSteelArmetAA for example). If you don't see them or the option doesn't come up to craft them in the menu even after you've obtained the Advanced Armours perk then something has gone wrong and it isn't on the mod's side, sorry.
because im sure im not the only one who didnt know that they exist
but the steam mods are flawless

im surprised that there arent any simple great helms (crusader) and anything
i mean theres so much variety out there in history but everyone likes to mod spikes and flames on everything
