when you first beat the boss and your family asks "Whats that thumping?" because your heart is beating so fast

Because the game doesn't have a specific end case for "Bittersweet Victory," this all comes down to when they hit 0 hull. If you fire a missile, then the rebel missile artillery fires, then your missile kills the flagship, then you die from the flagship's missile, that's a win. If you fire a missile, then the beam fires, killing you, then your missile kills the flagship, that's a loss. It'd be neat for a modded option to add new endings, like what CE tried to do with the secret ending. (The existence of a secret ending in CE is no secret, but how to obtain it is a spoiler and a secret.)
