Uncrafting, Transmutation, and Dragon Powder

解説
This Mod does a few things, all having to do with crafting.

1) It allows you to smelt down old gear into ingots

2) It allows you to grind down Dragon Armor and Falmer items into three(3) new alchemy reagents.

3) It allows you to transmute metals and minerals at the smelter.


DETAILS:

No requirements are needed for smelting weapons and armor down into their base components. All burnable components are lost in the fire. All superfluous metals are lost in the mix. An equatable amount of metal is produced depending on the composition of the item. This is realistic. In metallurgy there is no dissapearance of smelt. All impurities are burnt out and the composition becomes, if anything, stronger (temper is another story). All other Mods that give smaller amounts back are not true to reality. This encompasses all metal based items.

To get the new Alchemy reagents, you must have the skill perk "Purify".

To transmute metals into metals, minerals into minerals and smelting jewelry, you need the following skill perks:
-Master Alteration
-Purify
-Arcane Blacksmith

To transmute metals into minerals and vice versa you additionally need "Expert Conjuration".

Any alloy is not a pure metal and therefore cannot be transmuted. This includes steel and Dwarven metal.

I have spent a great deal of time on this mod and would like your feedback.

only the equipment is grindable. The raw material is not.

Hey love the concept Palorius. However I was wondering wether only Dragon armour was crushable to powder or the bones & scales fresh from dragonslaying grinable? Also once they are in powder form, what alchemy properties do they convey? Cheers Zenbela

Bob, if you have an item and the requirements, then the option will pop up automatically at the smelter. Do a quick check on the uesp website for item ingredients. Malachite is used in glass and elven equipment.

This is an awesome mod! It really helps with building my house and getting raw materials. I wonder if it's possible to perhaps make a list of sources (or something like it) where if I needed Malachite and I've never made anything with Malachite, I wouldn't know what to break down since I don't believe there are any weapons or armor with the word 'Malachite' in it. That might require a lot of code though, I'm not a programmer. Perhaps something in the popup window that says 'can be broken down into ***', something like that?

@marling I understand, but honestly I think not getting back the extreneous things is enough. There actually is a loss many times due to the item type limit being one. (i.e. you can't get more than one item class from crafting) and I had to forego my original idea of getting all metals back.

@gauffa I will have to look at it. The problem is the amount of code I needed to go through. I pushed an all nighter because of my OCD but probably made a few mistakes. Give me a list of items you see a discrepancy in and I will take a look at it after a bit. I have an extremely busy month coming up.

Very Nice, but getting all the metal back seems too easy. Seems like a 25-50% penalty would be better, even if not exactly how it works in real life(smelting loss penalty < than 5%)..
