Empire Builder v2.5 -- Beta

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
WHAT IS IT??
**
The Empire Builder is a personal in-game construction kit that you can use to build your own camp, village, town, city or Empire. Items are place in the game world by you, as the player, and can also be moved or removed by you at any time. Most items are not unique and are created and deleted on the fly. There are some elements which are unique and are automatically stored and retrieved when called upon. Some objects use custom artwork and meshes, but most use the resources from the CK. All objects found in the EB are unique to the EB. That is, there are no replacement items. All are at the very least copied and renamed so as to not affect any of the vanilla game items.

MOD REQUIREMENTS
**
• Skyrim.esm
• Update.esm
• SKSE
SKSE is required. Empire Builder makes extensive use of some of the SKSE scripting functions and will not function properly without it. The Empire Builder will work with the official DLC's, although they are not required, unless you are using an Empire Builder plugin that is made for a particular DLC. SKSE can be downloaded from: http://skse.silverlock.org/
Note: Banner markers will only work in Skyrim and not in any new lands, such as Wyrmstooth and Falskaar.

BETA - This is the beta release of the new Empire Builder. Although I've spent a great deal of time checking the mod for bugs, there are bound to be some still. Please report any bugs you find. You should be able to run this side by side with Pocket Empire Builder v1.49 without any conflicts.

How Do You Get It?
**
Click the Subscribe button, then run the original Skyrim Launcher and wait for the download to complete. Make sure it's enabled in either NMM or in the Skyrim Launcher 'Data Files' section. When finished, close the launcher and start the game with the skse_loader.exe in the Skyrim folder. You will be given choices on how to receive the Empire Builder: "Get It Now", "Purchase from a Vendor", and "Craft It at the Forge".

• "Get It Now" will add the + Empire Builder + ring to your inventory near the top of the Apparel section.

• "Purchase from a Vendor" will make it available for purchase from Lucan Valerius in the Riverwood Trader.

• "Craft It at the Forge" - You can craft it yourself at the Blacksmith's Forge.

You will also receive 2 spells and 1 token: The Packup/Adjust spell, Copy NPC spell, and NPC Teleport to Me token. The Copy NPC spell makes a copy of any npc that you cast it upon. When you cast the Packup/Adjust spell on an npc, they will be added to a teleport list that will allow you to summon them to your location whenever you want. To summon npc’s on the list, equip the 'NPC Teleport to Me' token in the apparel section of your inventory. This will allow you to teleport the npc’s in a last in first out order. They will drop right in front of your player. It is useful for getting your followers into buildings where they won’t normally follow, or for dropping baddies off a cliff.

How To Use It?
**
Simply equip the + Empire Builder + ring from your inventory Apparel section. A menu will give you the items to choose from. After you click on an item, and it appears before you, you will be be presented with an Adjustment Menu to adjust the positioning of the item.

You also have the option of repositioning an item by using the '+ Packup/Adjust Spell +' found in the 'settings' menu as well as near the top of the magic menu. Simply equip the spell and cast it on whatever you want to move or remove and a dialogue will appear giving you the choices.

Using the Empire Builder Menus
**
After equipping the + Empire Builder + ring, you will be presented with a menu that shows all of the available content. Clicking on a category will show sub-categories for that selection. Some of the menus are several layers deep, so any time you want to return to the Main Menu page, just hold the left-shift button while you click on '[back]' or '[exit]' in any menu off the main menu. This will return you directly to the Main Menu page, bypassing all others.

Deploying Objects In-Game
**
Selecting an object from the Empire Builder menu will cause it to appear in front of the player in a cloud of magic effects. After deployment, you can adjust the position of the object by invoking adjustment mode. Two ways of going into adjustment mode are by enabling the 'Item Adjust' option in the 'settings' menu (see settings for more info) or by equipping and casting the Adjust Spell on the item. If 'Item Adjust' is enabled, the adjust mode will automatically start when an object is placed. Otherwise, you would need to cast the Pack/Adjust Spell on the item to initiate the adjust mode.

Adjusting Item Positions
**
When in Adjust Mode, a light blue shader is applied to the selected object to indicate that it is selected and available for movement. You then use the computer keyboard to move the item to the desired position. Once you have it where you want it, press and hold the Right-Alt key until the shader disappears to exit adjust mode.

Movement Keys:
• Arrow Keys : X, Y, & Z direction movement (forward, back, left, & right), also used for tilt adjustment.
• Delete (or Del) : Rotate clockwise
• Page Down : Rotate counter-clockwise
• Home : Up
• End : Down
• Page Up: Toggle the arrow keys between x/y/z movements and tilt adjustment. Each press of Page Up will toggle it from one to the other.
• F1 to F4 & F6 to F8 : Sets the amount of travel distance and the tilt and rotation amounts for each step. F5 is reserved for use by the game. Distances are in game 'units', tilt and rotation are in degrees. See F-Key List below for details.

• Backspace : Sets movement to default values (same as pressing F4)
• F10 : Resets the object back to its starting position and exits adjust mode.
• Right-Alt : Exits Adjust Mode

• F-Key List:
F1 = 1 unit / 1 degree
F2 = 5 units / 5 degrees
F3 = 10 units / 10 degrees
F4 = 30 units / 30 degrees (default)
F5 = not used
F6 = 100 units / 45 degrees
F7 = 200 units / 90 degrees
F8 = 300 units / 180 degrees

NOTE: While in adjustment mode, you can press the 'Insert' key at any time to bring up the adjustment menu. Also, before exiting adjustment mode, pressing F10 will move the object back to its original position.

Settings
**
Packup/Adjust Spell - Equips the spell. Can also be equipped from your regular magic menu.
Scale Items - Lets you choose the size of an object to be placed, from 0.1x to 5.0x. Works with most, but not all, items.
Item Adjust - Causes Adjustment Mode to start immediately after placing an object.
Previous Menu Page - When enabled, will cause the menu to open at or close to the menu page you were on the last time you opened it.

Plants & Gardening
**
There are 2 types of placeable flora: garden plants and ingredient plants. Ingredient plants are placed as fully grown plants and are harvestable every few days. Garden plants start as seedlings and take 4 game days to develop into mature plants that can be harvested.
Gardening Modes: (modes are changed from the gardening menu)
There are 3 modes of gardening and what happens when the plant is activated depends on the mode your in.
• Garden Menu Mode - shows a menu with options whenever you activate a garden plant.
• Garden Plow Mode - deletes the garden plant when activated.
• Harvest/Replant Mode - harvests the garden plant and then replants a seedling in its place.

To change the mode, bring up the gardening plant option menu by holding the left-shift button while activating the plant. There is an option for changing the mode on the menu. The menu also has options for harvesting, adjusting position, and removing the plants.

Ingredient plants option menu is displayed by holding the left-shift button while activating the plant.

If you incorporated a material need for the crafting of items it would make the mod a total game changer. ive wanted to do this in skyrim for years :D:steamhappy:

Hey, if anyone can copy the idea of this mod into Xbox One edition, that would be awesome.
