have you ever thought. since necromancy is allowed in skyrim, i should also be allowed to become a lich. me neither but i recently started playing morrowind and found this awesome lich mod. and i thought to myself since oblivion already has the lich model it should have an even cooler lich mod, but it didn't. and now i realised i could try making something like that in skyrim.

i recomend reading almost all of the following.

This mod is now good enough to be played. however i will keep posting updates, and fix errors as much as i can and will(empty statement).


every playable no-mod race now starts with a spell that transforms them into a lich.
in this lichform you will be able to acces perks inventory magic etc.
you might also notice that in lichform you have more spells in your spell list. including the hide real form spell this spell is used to revert back to your origonal form(it finaly worked).

some of you may think: i don't wanna create a new character. well you can use console commands to add the spells but i recomend going to the second odly placed dead draugr(it is realy called that)(there used to be an other one but i removed it because of confusions and people thinking that was the correct draugr) under the gate of riverwood
inside this draugr you will find spell tomes. you only need the The Immortal [the race you are] books.

the nord lich form is a dragonpriest. but if you think i am not a nord but i want to be a dragon priest then get the books: The Immortal Nord and [the race you are] physique. and if you think im a nord but i want to be a skeletonlike lich do the opposite(grab a the immortal [anything but nord] book and the nord physique book.)

it is possible i made a mistake with one of the spells or tomes(for instance the darkelf having a redguard lichform spell), (even though i did double check) if this is the case please post it so i can fix it.

using this way conflicts heavily with being a vampire because you will revert into a non vampire version of your race. also being a vampire and a lich is very illogical lorewise.

for some reason the staves are sometimes invisible, when the staves are invisible your attacks are also delayed and you are unable to sheate your weapons. i have no idea what causes this bug but i will try to fix it. i also recomend sheathing weapons before switching them to avoid spells not working. if a spell still doesn't work. hold down the key for a few seconds.



i am open to sugestions, but keep in mind, i am not nearly a journeyman at modding.

if you have a problem. please give me as much information as possible. i can't turn lich. or i can't revert to human form. is not enough information.

if you have the problem that your camera angle is from the floor instead of from a little bit above the back of your lich i probably can't fix it, i will explain why: this problem happens because the mesh of almost all playable races miss a piece called 3rd person camera bone. i have actualy added this bone. and it should have fixed the problem. i think the current problem is with the download or something. so i can only say try redownloading it.


future plans. I am thinking about making a passive form of the spell that activates when your health is below a specific point (example. you would transform into a lich when below 10% health)
