1. Load up Alien Commander Tutorial.

2. Find the NPC Gorge in the base.

3. Follow it around until you get the achievement.

4. Regret your decision.

so many bug with this achievement ... the gorge and narrator will stop for no reason forcing you to restart .
the worst and most boring of the 4 tutorial easteregg

Do NOT build the spur. Doing this will make getting the achievement impossible and you'll have to start over.
Follow the Gorge until it reaches the expansion point. You should be able to figure out if you did it right in less than 5 seconds. If it takes longer, restart.

OK, I worked out the problem: this video is obsolete because they changed the tutorial. Now you have to wait for the builder Gorge to spawn and use it to build the first Harvester. You can't start following it for the achievement until the part in the tutorial where you get told to go and build a spur in your base about 1/3 of the way through.

Uh... it doesn't happen. As in, the NPC Gorge does not spawn. At all. I've tried starting and restarting the mission several times in case it doesn't happen every time, but no Gorge ever spawns until the normal one spawns to build Cysts after I look at one of the resource nodes. What gives?
