Description
Imagine you are the engineer of your own racing destiny during the birth of modern racing.

Reign supreme by pushing the boundaries of performance, reflexes and strategy in revolutionary race cars of the era as you compete against the biggest names in racing and up to 32 friends online, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Milwaukee Mile, Trenton, Riverside, Hanford and Langhorne Speedway.

This racing simulation is set during the most innovative and revolutionary period in motorsport history. From 1961 to 1971 the world of motor racing was changed forever as advances in design and technology continuously pushed the envelope of speed and endurance. You will get the opportunity to race against legends such as A J Foyt, Jim Clark, Al Unser, Parnelli Jones, Mario Andretti, Lloyd Ruby, Jack Brabham, Dan Gurney and many others and drive the iconic race cars of the era.

Indianapolis 500: Evolution is an officially licensed product of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and has been developed by Brain in a Jar in close collaboration with Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Brain in a Jar has been granted the rights to publish this updated version of the game and we need your help to get it onto Steam!

Racing games are totally not my thing at all ... but that said, this looks like it's really lovingly crafted by someone with a real passion for the sport and its history. How could I say no?

the game looks fun to play and the historical facts should make great conversation with anyone who are fans of Formula One and Indy racing.
