Oh there is no such thing as a tourist limit. One of my friends have a city with tens of thousands of tourists visiting.

"Satanic Panda ", In the beginning I was afraid of placing it for the fear that I would reach the 2000 tourist limit. Without the airport I had 900 tourist driving to the city for I had only highway connections to the outside world (population at the time was 46,000). I wasn't even trying to attract tourists, I had no idea why they were coming to the city. I guess the short answer is I have many park assets and high valued commercial buildings attracting the tourists here. This airport increased the tourist count to 2200 at that time. Tourists are not the only ones using the airport. At least 1/4- 1/3 of the traffic to and from the airport is my citizens travelling. The interesting bit would be that out of citizens travelling by plane over 1/2 of the citizens are unemployed. I wonder if that counts into the "Influx".

how do you get so much airport traffic if i may ask? I got up to almost 100k in my city and my airport was so baron that i ended up turning it off for economic reasons.
