"I’m surprised that there’s been no fanfare around this game. It’s an accomplished and individual piece of work, with a well-conjured setting and aesthetic, and it tackles the problems and promises of stealth as well as anything I’ve played in a good while."
Originally posted by Szymon 'Hed' Liebert, Gameplay.pl:
"Qasir al·Wasat: A Night in-Between is ready to fall into the hands of players and, hopefully, to shine its intriguing plot, unusual setting, interesting gameplay and great use of music and unusual sounds."
Originally posted by Cassandra Khaw, G4TV.com:
"To be fair, I could be biased. I'm totally smitten with the aesthetics. In an industry saturated with voxels and big, blocky pixels of all sorts, it's kinda awesome to find yourself immersed in what feels like one of the darker chapters of Scheherazade's One Thousand and One Nights"
Originally posted by Marco 'Astro' Tassani, The Indie Shelter:
This curious game, produced by Studio Aduge, has all the credentials to become the stealth indie game is lacking in our collection!
Originally posted by Joshua Philip, techzwn.com:
"It’s nice to see games breaking out of the box. I think we’ve had our fair share of games set in norse mythology, as well as the modern stealth game."

"In a long forgotten Syrian palace, the summoning of an invisible creature takes place. A stealth mission is assigned: eliminate three targets and be granted their weapons. The spirit, a fragile being that can be taken down with a single strike of a sword, must avoid detection whenever possible. But how to survive, in a fortress that is filled with traps and vigilant guards? As the story unfolds, investigation shows that there is more to this situation than it might originally seem. Something mysterious is happening. And in this mystery lies the key to an ancient treasure that is simply too magnificent to ignore."
  • Rich and detailed Arabian setting and narrative
  • Top-down 2D Stealth-Adventure gameplay
  • High resolution persian-minature inspired visuals
  • Conceptual, procedural, eerie soundscape

Qasir al-Wasat: A Night in-Between is already available for purchase at qasir.adugestudio.com where you can also download the demo.

After viewing an interesting presentation of the game and of the works of the developers, it was such an eye candy, not only for a different type of narrative that makes you explore but of it's own design. I sincerely recommend the game and would love to have it at Steam, so Brazilian games (this is made by an Indie team here at Brazil) can be more noted worldwide. Also thanks for the nice Lecture made at PUC-PR!

The concept is amazing, playing it will have some sort of "The Predator" vibe all over again, but this time i'll be hunting not running

This looks pretty damn awesome. You've done a lot of work on this and I can already tell that the puzzles will have me, for lack of a better word, puzzled for hours.
