New Cloudbuilt Overview Trailer!

Hello everyone.

The game has progressed these last few months, so we’re happy to finally show off an up-to-date video for the game. It also goes more into some detail explaining how the gameplay works. Please note that the game in general, and animations and special effects in particular, are work-in-progress.

GT Spotlight and action update

If you checked out our screenshot gallery lately you might have noticed a picture of Demi running and gunning. We have made a lot of progress on the game over the last seven months since we released our announcement trailer. One of the big things is that combat has become much more visually presentable then it was back then, and it’s one of things we want to highlight in upcoming material. Though don’t think for a second that Demi is the kind of girl that needs to stop or even slow down just because she’s taking out enemies :).

On another note we want to give a shout-out to the fact that Cloudbuilt was recently featured on GameTrailers Greenlight Spotlight. We are super happy that they picked our game for this and seeing Demi on the thumbnail was a nice surprise. As a last piece of news we just want to let you all know that we are working on putting a new trailer together and it should be out in the coming weeks. So stay tuned for that!

DESCRIPTION
Cloudbuilt is an old-school action platformer where your goal is to traverse obstacles as efficiently as possible. As Demi, a recently injured war-veteran in mental rehabilitation, you will always be on the move as you progress from confused rookie to masterful speed junkie.

Explore the thoughts of Demi through challenging multi-path levels using extreme wall runs, dashes and jumps. Avoid hostilities in your path, or shoot them out of your way as you charge and release your powerful energy beam. Not sure if it was just the trailer or the game itself, but the animations seem unnatural and jittery. Other than that, love the art style and the entire game concept! Keep it up! You have my vote!
