First off, seems we've been dumb in the ways of Steam and Greenlight... answering questions and posting updates in the comments, but neglecting the fact we could simply post updates to the page itself. Sorry about that! We get so busy we let things like this slip. Thank you, to some of our Kickstarter backers, for pointing out the error of our ways!

Now! To the update and the news:

A lot of questions about when the game will hit Steam and what's taking so long. Regarding timing, as you're mostly aware the game is already running on SpicyWorld and Kongregate. We've been using the data and feedback from those platforms to adjust and improve the game since start of the year. Frankly, we felt (and continue to feel) the game needs features added, game play balancing and other elements tuned before it's ready to be unleashed on Steam. We feel there's only one chance to have a strong launch here - and we *really* don't want to mess it up!

As for the current thinking on when the game will actually arrive on Steam... we've been talking with Valve about first putting the game into the Early Access program. The team is working on this goal now with a tentative date set at end of May. Due to the nature of Early Access there will be a "buy in" starter pack offered for a nominal fee - containing currency, items and goodies to make getting into the game fast and fun.

For the official launch on Steam it's hard to set a date. We want to use the feedback provided via Early Access to make further improvements... but hope that process takes no more than a month or two.
