Should be! The mod doesn't mess with modifers or anything of that sort. It adds a sound effect reference to a sound.asset text file (where all relevant sound effects are listed), then has the sound files themselves.
I'll update the description to factor this into account.
One would have to go throught the tracks and make sure there isn't anything 'stimulating' in them, but think things like auras, humming, chakra, etc - NOT chanting.
I listen to a lot of music from artists like Musk Ox - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbb_DKn21Ig when I play Stellaris, I would occasionaly forgo that for a good mod that has some nice musical ambience and a galaxy mode fader =D
Would be a bit tedious if you decided to suddenly have a lot of new ambience tracks, but it's doable!
-Done, added the disclaimer
-Ah yes, surprisingly, I would'e thought there would've been more ambience audio. There's literally only a couple (2 for Galaxy Map, one which I believe is re-used for black holes, about 3-4 for system view... and a couple for the star planets)
-Ah yes, that's super easy, and an interesting project that could be worth undertaking. You can make the game either play one ambience track randomly in a certain scenario (like viewing stars/planets), or choose to play a couple of ambience files simultaneously (like it's done in Galaxy View)
Would you have a Youtube example of the types of ambience you'd have in mind?
On the second point. The in game ambience is just BORING to me, so turning off music just to appreciate the mod isn't viable for me personally. BUT... I noticed that while I did turn it off, the ME galaxy mode music overrides the galaxy map ambience enough. So maybe an set of expansion mods with different 'music' style ambiences could be done for the ambience files instead of the music files.
