Description
Talladega Superspeedway is the Biggest of them all. Scratch built for rFactor 2 by Garry Cross.
This is a beta version. Everything race related works, but there is a big job to add lots of objects in their correct positions. I have a friend who will be working on it for me. Much thanks to him. I certainly look forward to seeing this and most of my other tracks pretied up.

Known issues:
Infield graphics low quality.
Many more objects to be added.

Textures updated to DX11 compatibility. Some other small changes.

v0.93 update
Staggered pitboxes up and down pit lane. Designed to give drivers more space like in real life.
Updated caution lights

v0.92 update
Grip changed to 1.0

v0.85 update
Pacecar release endpoint moved back to correct place.
New Pacecar Line (Centre of track)

v0.70 update
Disable cut track (as per Mountain Pk Speedway)
As fields were approaching 30, online racers were starting to get cut track penalties in error.
Pacecar release endpoint moved as close to finish line as possible. To avoid lap up/lap down penalties common in online races when yellows come out while drivers are in pit lane.
Slowwhenpushed set to "0" AI Cars will now not slow when you get close behind them. (as if they are scared of you!)
Adjusted Speed Limits to 2018 Specs

v0.61 update
Added an Unrestricted version of the track. Works with Nascar 2016 Skins mod.
Nascar 2016 Skins mod has required matching code to use unrestricted engine with Superspeedway aero package.

v0.60 updates
Cut track FIX (Could get cut track on grass)
2018 Loading screen updated to 1.4
Yellow lights fixed
Yellow line pit entry and exit
Cones added to remind drivers to stay in or out of pit lane when entering
New signs in turns 1&2 and 3&4
Some updated textures to better support DX11

There is lighting at real track, but I don't think they hold a cup race at night. Either way, not for quite some time. DX11 first!

Any hopes for Lighting?

I think it's more to do with the contents of the sign vs the size of the sign. I perfer it to be accurate to real life just like your other tracks. This would also create more mass apeal for the tracks. Advertisments on the loading screen are one thing I can live with but the sign is just to much to me. I perfer a true to life experience.

Loving the track thus far. Great work as always. We all appereicate it.

That may not stay in final release. Interesting feedback. The SCSR guys like it. Those not SCSR dont. It's a direct copy from the Alabama track. No-one complained there! Maybe the track shape was so bad, the sign fell into the background!

I am truley thankful for the work Garry has put into this track and was happy with its feel but I lost the submerged feeling every time I saw the SCSR Sign at the end of both stretches. For me it's not only the feel of the car but the environment as well when it comes to getting totaly submerged. Would love to see something other than SCSR but hey IT'S FREE and I still give his work a 5+! Great Job Garry!
