The only thing i would add is to get the Shadow Strike Ability from the main story mission asap. Its absolutely changes the gameplay, but in a good way:)
my only addition is this:
after deleting save and restarting several times trying to buff myself up as much as possible at the beginning of the game, i found that BEFORE starting the main missions, travelling around the map, reforging towers, collecting the ilithin (or whatever they are called, the wall art things) and artifacts to get more miriam to increase your abilities really makes it easier. get yourself some more health, unlock rune slots on your weapons, and stealth kill as many baddies as you can without starting a fullscale battle to gain exp. in my current playthrough i have alot more abilties and runes and such and i havent died. yet. i am sure i will die very soon.
