Description
Not a fan of the time, mineral, and research investment for habitats, or their limited footprint? This mod aims to solve some of that.

Voidborne Ascension Perk requirements are reduced to Lv2 Defense Platforms (instead of Lv3) and Destroyers instead of Battleships. The mineral cost for construction is halved (down to 2500) and the influence cost is removed entirely. Construction time is also halved. Floorspace per habitat is increased to 16 (up from 12).

Alternatively if you just want easier access to Habitats without the cost reduction and size increases (for instance if you have other mods that increase floorspace) try Lowered Habitat Prereqs instead.

Any way you can change the habitat build requirements so you can build around an inhabited planet again? Right now you have to choose between habitats and spaceports, so if you can change the behavior back to how it was, that'd be great.

I totally forgot to fix the # of tiles in habitats when I updated for Adams. Fixed now.

I have an idea for something with habitats that I need to poke at down the line. Not sure how possible it'll be but we'll see.

It would be nice to have a version that completely removes the prerequisites.

As it stands, this mod is great. I don't understand why this isn't just how vanilla works.

Honestly, the only thing I didn't like about habitats was the voidborn perk having such hefty requirements, and as there's already a lot of mods that raise the habitat tile cap, could we get a version that's just the reduces perk requirements?
