Beginner on AO ?

Here are few reference links so you find you way through Anarchy Online's complex universe !

General

First, a general guide to discover basis, e.g. professions & races :

As you'll find out, there are 14 professions (with 12 into free game base) & 4 races among wich certain are more adapted to specific professions.

You'll start AO in a place named Arete Landing ... here are its main lines :

j_m : it depends what we speak of ... in terms of space to explore, the raw sumup is that there are 2 worlds to explore, one being free and other paid ... but in terms of expansions (opening to more weapons, actions & playfields than the free game) there are 5 of them and only 1 is giving with free game. bottom line, you may play during years for free without being bored. it's only when you real want to dig more into the game after awhile that you may go paid.

robin : you can download the game via steam OR directly from https://www.anarchy-online.com/ website, in which you also can click "PLAY FOR FREE" to create a free account (you can decide later to buy expansions to make it a paid one). Hope it helps ;)

jrsmythe : inside the game you can display 2 type of map : localmap by doing Ctrl+6 combo or worldmap by hitting P key ; for this last, you can install a custom map as listed in my guide ; for the shortcut list please go here http://anarchyonline.wikia.com/wiki/Controls

I am a lvl 20 but still cant find or been given any maps, have checked most of the games area to locate a map supplier, so far no luck..
