Bounty Forgery

This mod is my first go at modding skyrim, it's a very small and simple add-on.

The idea behind it is to enhance game play for thief types, who don't want to only have the choice of "pay your fine" or "serve jail time" although in the default game you can escape prison, I didn't really see a point in it, as you just had to end up paying your fine or going back to jail.

This mod aims to change that, in each dungeon/jail there is a book, a record of that holds bounties that it has set upon criminals, criminals like you! since your well versed in the subtle art of forgery..why not ..make a little change?

Each of the books can be used, when used they will reset all Bounties that hold has on your character, you don't have to have been arrested to use the book, you can sneak into the prisons or hold the books being kept in and use it to remove all current bounty with that faction!

Note: if being attacked while using the book the attacker wont just leave you alone, they will pursue, but you can escape and come back in a day or two and the bounty will still be 0 (provided you don't hurt anyone in your escape) and no one will know anything about your sordid evil deeds!

The books aren't hard to find, the first one is on the way out of whiterun cells where you get your gear back.

Had a wee issue with the markarth book, it's been relocated as of now, and can be found in understone keep!

After playing with it for a while, I decided that getting 100 bounty for escaping was less "lore fitting" and more just an irritation as you just end up going back in and using the book! so I removed the 100 bounty for escaping from a hold prison.

Known issues:
theres an issue when sleeping that you may be teleported back to the jail u were last in.


for those who want to know the locations of the books read on, for those who want to find them for themselves, stop reading here:
Dawnstar - on the jailors desk where the key is held.
Falkreath - again on the jailors desk outside of the cell.
Markarth - on a table to the right of the stairs leading to the Jarl's throne.
Morthal - on the jailors desk to the right as you exit the cell.
Riften - on a desk in the guards room (the room just before the evidence room)
Solitude - on the jailors desk in an office upstairs.
Whiterun - on top of evidence chest in whiterun dragons reach dungeon.
Windhelm - on a bookshelf in the guards quarters of the bloodworks.
Winterhold - in the jarls longhouse on a table with the map of skyrim.

Known Conflicts:
A user has reported that a mod called "Don't commit crimes" conflicts with my own due to them both changing similar aspects.
