HI Guys,

Introducing another tactic based on 4-1-4-1 formation. Not obsessed with it. But couldn't find more stable formation.

The empasis on this tactic is more towards retaining ball. But it doesn't shy away from attacking. Since creative freedom is set to more expressive.

Now for the Roles and duties.

I againg took the fullbacks to Inverted wingbacks. As they tempt to move towards the center, they support the atacking midfielders.

SK support
2 CD Defend
2 IWB support
1 BWM defend
2 CM's attack.
2 WM Attack
False nine.

Team instructions
Tempo- Much lower
Narrow width
More closing dowm
no offside trap
Use tight marking
prevent short gk distribution
get stuck in (You can change this if you team makes more fouls)
short passing
retain posession
pass into space
be more expressive
dribble less (this is key to retain ball)
work ball into box
look for overlap
play out of defense

Team shape - fluid
Mentality - Control.

Took over Hertha Berlin at mid of Dec '16, when they were at 17th position. Ended the season at 4 with qualifying for champions league and winning europa league.Had a chance to sign phil jones from Man u at Jan transfer window for 6m. really a coup.

Started the 17/18 season with wining 2-0 DFL super cup against Bayern Munich. Then 1-0 against PSG in euro super cup.

Hey @mahe_donz, I have just got into playing this version again and was wondering. Can the false 9 be changed to something else? I struggle to find anyone suitable in lower leagues to fulfill this role/ Thanks

Im doing really great in home games with this tactic, but it does not seem te work for away games. Any one a suggestion? Im playing Fc Den Bosch in the dutch second division.

Changed it to 4 4 1 1, changed the 2 CM to sp and the AM to AM(Atk) works even better so far with my leeds save.

This tactic worked great for me. Got 5th in first year with Stoke, only signings happened in January when Arnautovic left for Monaco. Won champions league in third year with a squad that had no business getting out of the group.

Real nice tactic so far in my Portsmouth game but it really tires the players out quickly!

Tactic is amazing so far, Managing Salford, sitting first and we've scored 79 goals this season, only lost one league game (the B/C choice side was on, resting A for the FA Cup) and the only buy in was Alan Teggart from Dungannon.
