So this is a guide to show a little about the branches so you do not have to go all the way to the wiki. Oh yeah. Ironically I had to use the wiki. Here's the link --> http://stardewvalleywiki.com/Skills

Farming
Okay. So farming should be easy. The map that is easiest for farming is the normal one. You might get ahead with foraging at the start but when you get the greenhouse and fill it with crops, your farming will go crazy.
Here is the skill tree:

Lv 5 part 1: Rancher (Animal based user) (Animal products worth 20% more or in other words worth 1.2 times as much or 1/5 more)

Lv 5 part 2: Tiller (Crop based user) (Crops worth 10% more or in other words worth 1.1 times as much or 1/10 more)

Lv 10 part 1a: Coopmaster (Coop based animal user) (You befriend coop animals quicker and incubation time is cut in half)

Lv 10 part 1b: Shepherd (Barn based animal user) (You befriend barn animals quicker and sheep produce wool quicker)

Lv 10 part 2a: Artisan (Artisan based crop user) (Artisan goods {Jelly, Pickles, Juice, etc.} worth 40% more or in other words 1.4 times as much or 2/5 more)

Lv 10 part 2b: Agriculturist (Super crop based user) (Crops {ALL OF THEM} grow 10% quicker or in other words 1.1 times as much or 1/10 more)

Combat is killing monsters. The best farm for combat is the wilderness farm. Combat skill tree:

I can imagine this guide being very useful for newer players, I remember I always had to switch between wiki pages and tabbing out the game and trying to figure out what the best option was to go for. Just for some constructive criticism , maybe you could add an evaluation at the bottom, displaying what some of the benefits may be of going down each route. For example, going down the Miner route and then prospector would be useful early game, but late game Geologist and Gemologist may be better as you can have several crystalariums and will have an abundance of gems.
