Humble Store Table Top Week
Beta 2 release date and info
Beta 2 Release Date
Beta 2 will release to the itch game page[severalbytes.itch.io] and the Humble Store[www.humblebundle.com] on the 23rd of March 2017. The price will go up to US$6/€6, though I will be keeping the price at US$5/€5 for 2 weeks after launch as a Beta 2 launch discount

Main Features
I've done a heck of a lot of work for this update, not the least of which is upgrading the efficiency and stability of the station rendering engine and png rendering technique. I've also added extra tiles sets and the ability to swap between them at will. Another feature I hope you like is the ability to enter your own seed for the random generator. On top of that, NEON Ultra dev Amy Warden has added a track to the OST! I'm pretty excited for people to get their hands on this update!

Description
Need to generate a space station map for a sci-fi themed table-top session? Station generator does exactly that, by allowing you to generate a massive variety of space stations in an instant. Station Generator is a tool that anyone can use easily

Use the included presets, or delve into the various options to design your own specific station, or just choose the size, type and print!

When you've got the station you want, you can save it as a .png file to print it and hand it out to your players, or upload it for your Roll20 game

Features
  • Basic, standard and advanced control modes
  • 20 Different room types
  • 7 Station types
  • 9 Presets (more planned)
  • 3 tilesets to chose from
  • Ability to save as a .png in multiple resolutions
  • Soundtrack by Cornelis Jordaan and @amywrdn

This game is in Early Access (available now on the Humble Store[www.humblebundle.com], and itch.io [severalbytes.itch.io]), with 3 beta's planned before final release.

For the Steam release I'd like to add Trading Cards, and possiblty a few tongue in cheek achievements. I also think it would be cool to do some kind of SteamWorks integegration like sharing presets or potentialy specific stations depending on how developments goes and if users would like that feature.

This is great looking piece of software, I've played it on itchio. It's quick and makes great printouts for your tabletop or online RPG. There's a ton of customizable sliders and layouts.

You can make Space Stations (no kidding right?) but you could also call them outposts, pretend they're on some airless moon. Or multiple levels to some gigantic Star Ship.

Or generate and print 100 levels to make your own Death Star. I mean "ORBITAL DOOM CANNON STATION." Don't sue me Disney.

looks cool!

looks useful. I could see it being used for things beyond the intended purpose.

Correct! This isn't a game, it's a companion app for table top /online talbetop (like Roll20), which is why I've listed it in the Software section :)
