Vlad Von Carstein - Blood Knight Reskin

Hi everyone!

Update** Blood Knights Full Helmets and Reskin below!

I've been trying my hand at some reskins and wanted to slowly begin to share them with you all as I complete them. One of the things I really enjoyed about the actual Table Top game was the fact that you had the freedom to paint your units however you chose. With CA being kind enough to release mod compatibility with Total War: Warhammer they have given us the ability to do so in the 3D environment of the game as well!

I plan on doing a full Vampire Count reskin but for now I'd like to release "Vlad Blood Knight Reskin" with the "Blood Knights Reskin" pack coming tomorrow night! I plan on doing 1-2 weekly releases so stay tuned if you enjoy the work.

This reskin for Vlad is inspired from various art pieces I found depicting Vlad in red armor tinged with gold and the emblem on his cape is a hand drawn piece that is straight out of the Vampire Counts Table Top banners to add some flavour.

What was altered:
Armour is dark red, lined with gold
Vlad's eyes and the eyes of the gargoyles on his armour now glow blue
Hair is a little whiter and face was shaded a bit
Fur on his back is changed to a pure black colour
Cloak was hand drawn to match a Table Top banner
The three blood vials are now a brighter red.. or maybe they're gems?

Huge shout out to Magnar and Damian for their tutorials and help in getting me started - very much appreciated.

@Pelinal Whitestrake - Mine definitely does not make the Red Duke bald :) also I think Vlads cape is the bomb! Lastly if it annoys you crack it open in the PFM and simply delete the cape.dds resave and voila!

I will check. Btw - Is your Red Duke mod one of those which changes the 2D version of his avatar? He looks like a deranged bald zombie in mine and I know this can be fixed by deleting somestuff in mods that change him via PackFileManager and I'm just wondering if yours is one of those. Thanks in advance.

@Pelinal Whitestrake - I would think so? Best idea is to just test it out, depending on load order the head may be overwritten by the nose mod but then the rest of his body should show this mod, let me know

Thank you for the mod, really improves Vlad's look.

I'll second the request for regular vampire lords in a similar manner. Their tarnished copper looks so out of place next to Vlad's bling-bling :)
