Subscribe to download Moar Dragons!

Some players have experienced issues with dragons continuing to spawn at an increased rate after unsubscribing from Moar Dragons and removing it from the Data Files section of the Skyrim launcher. This is not an issue I can fix as it should not occur in the first place, the original value should be reinstated once the mod is no longer active. If that is not the case it is an issue for Bethesda to fix.

This mod is intended to make lots of dragons spawn. Lots of dragons spawning means it is working as intended. If lots of dragons spawning, potentially forever, is not what you want then please do not install this mod. :)
-[ /NOTE ]-

Nothing fancy here, the main thing I've done is remove the forced delay between dragons spawning in the world.

This is the original edition. For the "Somewhat Sane Edition" with a short delay between dragons, see this mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=17789

This doesn't guarantee "moar dragons" but it should increase the regularity with which they appear and also increase the chances of being attacked by more than one dragon at a time.

Regarding compatibility with other mods: They should all work fine, unless they also affect the delay between dragon spawns.

Regarding putting this mod on Nexus: No.
I have no interest in maintaining the mod in two locations with two different systems. All PC copies of Skyrim require Steam so there is no excuse for not being able to use "Moar Dragons!" from the Workshop.

Latest Update: Reverted previous changes. Only the delay between dragon spawns is affected by this mod now, the random wilderness encounters are untouched.

Love this mod and have enjoyed using it for a while now. Got a favor to ask any chance of your posting this one to Nexus and posting a link to it? After all that 50 mod cap limit sucks that they have here now. Thanks

I dunno. The immersion would be totally broken if there were just dragons upon dragons. The idea is more that the dragons' return heralds the end times than that there are so many dragons you literally can't kill one without three more popping up. Also, with how long Alduin's revival ritual takes, he really can't bring back that many dragons all at once. If you focus on the main quest, you can complete it in probably a couple in-game days.

How can I revert back to the good old spawning rate ? I unsubscribed, I tried the "somewhat sane edition", I even installed a mod decreasing the chances of dragon spawn. Yet I can't walk 50 meters without being pounced on by one of the damned lizard. Any help ?

I would try one of three things:
* See if Packleader Thargs is on to something, and kill all of the dragons...in the case of like 20+ dragons, I would just use the ~ console, start clicking on dragons and using the "kill" command...

* Revert to a game save previous to the installed mod (Bethesda set the game up so that altered script "values" are included in your save game metadata). Dragon frequency changes as the main quest progresses naturally, so alterations to this value may get stored there.

* Possibly, delete the WIWaitDragon script from the scripts folder in your Skyrim data directory (or even the entire scripts folder) and let steam redownload the file. Not sure if this would work, because the script value itself may be part of your save game data...also not necessarily sure that Steam will re-dl all of the files on it's own.

Not sure if any of these would work, but they might be the only options that have a chance of working.
