Thanks for the quick response! I'm going to conclude you're not building in Unity (like half the world lately) :)

It sounds like they could complement one another well.

I like details, but use Mac. <sigh>

Again, thanks for the response. :)

As far as I understand Mapfogre operates large blocks, and DPS operates detalis.

We do not plan to release for Mac in the near future.

How does this compare to MapForge (currently in Kickstarter)? That one seems to be oriented torwards art packs as a big focus.

Also, any plans for a Mac version the Dungeon Painter Studio?

I'm excited to use this for my sessions! I normally use dungeon generators because I host over fantasy grounds, but with a program like this, I can create a digital map with ease to share with my players. I do use the online painter - however with a actual digital download of this, I'll use it all the time. I hope to see it soon! Goodwork!

I can barely wait for this tool as well. Currently creating my first campaign and the ocean of mediocre tools is out there. The easiest job (consider that I know the software from before) have been either RPG Maker or Photoshop, both kinda tedious in their own ways and Dungeon Painter being the easiest/best browser version so far. This is going to make the job as a DM so much easier and mapping out stuff will be a dream.

Keep up the good work!

Don't mean to be impatient, do I need to add something to a kickstarter? Our Star Wars RPG starts soon and this editor will make map making so much easier and so much more awesome. As soon as this drops, its mine!

Pyro, I must thank you for all the hard work you've put into this application. Dungeon Painter is something I've been waiting for, for months - and I've been using the online app for all my Encounter maps. DP Studio has seriously made developing my campaign a breeze, and that much more immersive when I try painting a picture for my players. Kick ass work, m88.
