How to access game files

This guide will help you to find the Game folder and the output_log file that will be useful when you have an issue with the game and want to send us the file.

Step 1

Right click no the game in your Steam library and select "Properties"

Step 2

This window will open, just click on the "LOCAL FILES" tab!

Step 3

In the "LOCAL FILES" tab, click the "BROWSE LOCAL FILES..." button! This will open an explorer windows

Step 4

You are in the game folder! Please make sure there is no "steam_appid.txt" next to the game executable. If so you can delete it!
If you want to access the log file of the game, please proceed to the "Seasons after Fall_Data" folder.

Step 5

In the "Seasons after Fall_Data" folder, you'll find a "output_log.txt" file that will be really helpful to us if you encounter an issue with the game. Please note that you will have to play the game, encounter the issue, and get that file right after that!
If you relaunch the game and there is no issue during the session, this file will not contain pertinent stuff since the file is regenerated each time you launch the game :(

any advice on how to do this with Danganronpa games? I want to mod Trigger Happy Havoc so that it's opening is similar to the one from the anime and having any cutscenes saved in utmost quality (ie openings, body discoveries, executions)

i tried this with FNAF world, and it only showed the game file, not its parts. how do i acess fnaf world's code?
