Description
Note: the original mod did not include the scripts due to its animation being BUILT LEFT HANDED.

A script with a HUD icon for the Barrett M99 with an ACOG scope from Counter-Strike Online 2.

Type: Flash outline (artwork unfinished)

This addon replaces SCRIPTS (changes the in-game weapon stats)! That means you can only play on a server (your own or your friend's host) which has this script enabled. Disable this mod (and preferrably restart the game) if you want to join online servers.

That also means that you need to subscribe to 1 (one) of the "Required Items" to get the model itself. Do not ignore the window that pops up after you subscribe! If you do, you can find them (the Required Items) to the right of the preview/description/comment section, where the author(s) is(are) credited and the stats are shown.

The script changes are:
  • HUD icon
  • 1 round capacity (def. 20)
  • 400 damage per shot (def. 115)
  • 56 reserve ammo (def. 180) - shotgun ammo type
  • 0.25 cycle time (def. 1.05) - reload triggers sooner

There will be no explosion. When upgraded with explosive rounds, it gains a monstrous splash raduis, and coupled with the extreme damage it becomes a liability, as it could one-shot the whole team, if the game wasn't programmed to actually AVOID incapacitating the whole team at once.

Also, 250 damage is what the shotguns deal, and up close it one-shots (cr0wns) the Witch on Normal. Since the reload is slow however, and due to M99's single-shot nature, I'd rather go for the 56 reserve ammo and more damage, but not as far as with the GL ammo type.

The grenade launcher ammo sounds good, althought if there's an explosion it would probably make the exploding ammo sorta useless for it.

@ N £ U R O, I've been thinking about the balancing, which one do you think fits the best?
1+30 rounds 750 dmg // grenade launcher ammo type: stumbles even Tanks, easy team-kill
1+56 rounds 400 dmg // shotgun ammo type: extra damage up close (good for Witches)
1+90 rounds 250 dmg // autoshotgun ammo type: ditto; more ammo, less damage
1+150 rounds 150 dmg // hunting rifle ammo type: slightly less ammo, minor damage increase
1+180 rounds 125 dmg // sniper rifle ammo type: same as default, negligible damage increase

The script has a BuiltRightHanded line, false for weapons ported from CSS. This Barrett is ported from CSO2, which still has most of its gun anims built left handed, even if they're visually not.
