RNW Tile: Antarctica DEMO

Description
Adds a new tile for the random new world to use, modeled off of the bedrock topography of Antarctica!

This is the DEMO VERSION. The tile will spawn every time.
To see it spawn as often as any other tile, use the normal version.

Overview

The tile is large enough to present a large and continous landmass, as well as numerous mid-sized islands. It presents over 800 land provinces to conquer and colonize. However, it is also compact enough that other tiles can fit around it. It has an extremely high rate of spawning, but it can spawn in many different rotations and mirrorings, so there's always a degree of uncertainty.

The tile is very large, taking up most (but not all) of the New World area. This means that you can expect to see a wide variety of climates across the landmass!

Each wasteland mountain area is named after it's real world counterpart, like the Transantarctic Mountains!

The tile will spawn every time the RNW is generated.

Specs

- 809 land provinces
- 17 regions
- 72 islands
- 1 continuous landmass
- 58 non-randomized sea provinces
- 44 lakes
- 13 straits
- 24 important river estuaries
- 18 important natural harbours
- 3 important inland centres of trade
- Size: 1920 x 1920 pixels, or 13x13

Requirements and Compatibilities

Requires the Conquest of Paradise DLC, as does anything else related to the random new world.

This mod is compatible with Random New World Improvements, and should play well with any other mod out there.

Acknowledgements

The tile is based on bedrock data of Antractica discovered by the BEDMAP project. The original data, and more information on it, can be found here: http://nsidc.org/data/atlas/news/bedrock_elevation.html

Votes make the workshop go 'round, so if you like the tile please give it a thumbs-up!

@Kruger
Open the options menu and disable "Terra Ingognita in Lobby." Then you'll be able to see the New World and pick a nation.

Can't do anything about that, unfortunately.

oh, forgot to mention, some islands are their own state, not really sensible to ever make those states.

Thank you, that's very helpful. I'll be doing a massive bug fixing push as soon as I finish with finals, so I'll be sure to get to these then.

Thanks for the feedback! These little issues can be really hard to find, but they're generally easy to fix. Unfortunately province IDs aren't fixed in the RNW. What would be the easiest for me to deal with are screenshots with some indication of what the problem is and where.

This is a super fun tile and I love the fact it reflects real like geography (or at least topography).
I do have a couple things I think should be adjusted.
-Some islands I think are far too small to label as individual provinces. There's one island that's two islands but there's a bit too much distance between them to make sense.
- I noticed a bunch of the lakes have duplicates (as in two different lakes count as the same lake tile). For the most part thats fine but it can cause some weird adjacency things. I could convert a culture from the middle of the continent to the edge because Naga lake was in two places.
-There's one landlocked province that also has a little island randomly counting as part if it giving it a port.
I know you got enough of your plate I just wanted to bring those things to your attention whenever you're looking to polish it. I could give you province IDs (assuming those don't change from playing the game)

This is actually really cool
