Improved Empire Garrisons

Description
This small mod strenghtens the imperial garrison forces.

Compatible and recommended with Mazz's
Tier 4 Minor Settlements mod, thanks to Mazz for the permission.


Save game compatible, it will take one turn to take effect.

Basic garrisons are strong, but to go full on Maginot you'll have to build garrison buildings.

Ok, glad to hear things are working for you again. I can highly recommend using Kaedrin's Mod Manager when playing with lots of mods, especially since CA is recently creating new problems with their launcher updates.

Well, looks like I just had too many mods, after disabling some of them everything is nice and exploding again.

I was surprised as well because mortars in my regular armies as well as the opposing one's were working normally, also I didn't use any mods changing arty's stats.
I'm running some tests now to find the source of this.

Strange, however I can't imagine how this mod could cause this problem; the only tables edited are those that assign garrison units to buildings, unit stats/ behavior or anything related to those are not altered by this mod. Could it be that you use other mods, for example the one that alters gunpowder units for the Empire?

I tried adding commanders, the problem is that you can't level them up and a level 1 hero/ lord will be outclassed by an elite unit. it becomes even more problematic with casters who won't have access to spells.
