UPDATED: 8/18/16: Resources tweaked for greater diversity

RESOURCE REDUX alters the way resource deposits are generated on the galaxy map to be more realistic while maintaining game balance.


*MAIN SEQUENCE STARS: will usually generate 1 to 5 energy depending on type. A and B type stars will often give a small amount of physics research as well.

*STELLAR OBJECTS: such as black holes, neutron starts, pulsars, etc. will give larger amounts of physics research but no energy. They will also give neutroniam and/or dark matter.

*JOVIANS (gas giants): will give a single point of energy and, occasionally, minerals, a point of either engineering or physics research, or terraforming materials.


Balance: You will have slightly more energy available in the early game but this will balance out after exploiting a few star systems.

Compatibility: The mod changes the common/ deposits / 00_deposits.txt file so will be incompatible with any other mod that also does so.
