Description
Update 7:

Further buffed Invocation of Nehek by 25% and applied update buffs to it.

Update 6:

Vortexes now move 50% slower than original, rather than 25% slower.
Wrath & Ruin should now do double its damage which is equivalent to half the damage of Fate of Bj. (It was originally a quarter).

Update 5:

Invocation of Nehek healing: 200%

Update 4:

Reduced Life Leech range, slightly increased mana cost.
Slightly reduced Burning Gaze range, slighty incrased mana cost.

Update 3:

Dwarf Ballistics Calibration duration: 150%
Runesmith's buffs spell duration: 150%

Gyrobombs & Gyrogrenades damage: 200%

Update 2:

Foe-Seeker and Deadly Onslaught duration: 150%
All buff and curse spells duration: 150%

Update 1:

Damage: 200%
All projectile spells like Fireball & Gazes

This mod attempts to balance the weak magic system by simply improving vortex and bombardment spells, usually tripling their damage. Spells were tested to be fun and balanced, but feedback is very welcome! Check below to see all the changes.

Hey Sinj, could you let me know what the update changed for Invocation of Nehek (somthing about units raised are at full health), and what you specifically did to include them?

I don't know if it would crash, but they both change how spells work so it would be pointless to run both. If you want stronger spells, stronger (overpowered imo) artifacts, and better wizard level 2 skills on the campaign, you should just play with Molay's mod.

If you just want stronger spells, use my mod. If you want stronger spells and the better wizard level 2 skills, then i recommend using my mod PLUS my modified Molay mod which only adds the level 2 skills. Here is the modified Molay: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=702711528

healing needs to be increeased by how much for it to say maybe have any effect?

I've been busy haven't had time to test anything or work on an update yet. I'll have an update and take care of the issues previously discussed by the end of the week.

@PhoBoChai : Thanks for the feedback on wrath&r, I'll tweak it for the next update. I agree about the vortexes and will be speeding them back up a bit to make them more risky to use.

Wrath & Ruin Rune is really weak, nowhere close to Wrath of Bjuna. Spirit Leech and Accusation are both good already, they wreck single targets.

The problem with Vortexes are the random nature of it, if you buff other damage dealing spells to be effective, it obsoletes the purpose of Vortexes, because they are a high risk high reward spell due to the random movement. As soon as they do not move and simply deal high damage, they lose their specialty.

Other guaranteed damage spells should not be anywhere as good as Vortexes for that reason.
