Public Order Rebalanced

Description
NOTE: Use either this mod or NO TAX MATTERS which contains the same changes to the tax mechanic without additional public order adjustments.

This mod contains the following changes:

- The public order bonus from taxes is set to -12 (compared to vanilla -4), but the handicaps from difficulty levels (1, 0, -2, -4, -8 from easy to legendary) are replaced with a bonus (+7, +6, +4, +4, +4). If you extempt a province from taxes the positive effect is now much bigger then vanilla. This should make removing taxes more of an option under certain circumstances.

- Public oder bonuses and handicaps were reworked for higher difficulty levels then normal for the AI, and higher then hard for the player. The bonus for the AI was frozen on the level of normal difficulty and that of the player on hard difficulty. As a result AI controlled provinces are now more affected by corruption, hostile agents and pillaging armies, while player controlled provinces are not constantly at the brink of a rebellion despite having public order buildings and using agents. The AI will still have perfectly happy provinces most of the time, so don't worry about excessive rebellions on their side.

This mod works well with my other mod HAPPINESS MATTERS.

COMPATIBILITY

Only compatible with mods that don't change public order bonuses. If in doubt, adjust the load order. The mod works with ongoing games and can be uninstalled at any time.

DONATIONS

If you appreciate my work you can send me a small tip. I will use it to buy all those expensive WH DLCs :) and keep my mods up to date. Use the send money feature of PAYPAL[www.paypal.com] with this email: zarkis@online.de

Check out my other mods with many well thought out and balanced changes to campaign mechanics. And don't forget to like. :)

If you could that'd be pretty great. You have a decent number of mods that are effectively basic gameplay features for a lot of people. I have to remind myself for example that for some reason the -12 on taxes is this mod and not Vanilla, which frankly it really should be.
Maybe small groupings based on what they change? So say, this, Happiness matters and better trade as an economy pack of sorts? But yeah, regardless, if you do some kind of pack it'd be very welcome.

That's true. :) Problem with mod collections is that everybody has a different taste when it comes to what changes should be included. Maybe I will release a mod with my personal favorites, but I won't make submods for everybody.

Hello my friend! Your mods are really good, and at this point, I can't play without them! Just one question... would you consider putting this mods (Better Trade, Better Sieges, Public Order rebalanced, Better Autoresolve, No Tax Matters and Happiness Matters) in one single mod? I have some mods installed, and unfortunatly, sometimes my game crashes. I know its not your problem, but if you have the time... it would be so awsome if you could make a single mod with all those mods! Thanks for your amazing work!

So should the AI be getting -12 from taxes but +12 for simply being ai on hard difficulty because thats what im getting

Still I think the public order hit to the player should be just a little lessened.
