Five Nights at Freddy's World Update 2: How to get all Characters!

In this guide, you'll learn how to unlock all of the new characters in FNaF World. There will be spoilers for FNaF 3, 4 and World.
You have been warned.

How to get Backstage

Backstage? What?

Yeah! You can go Backstage in the FNaF 4 Halloween Update! This is where you have to go to begin your quest to get the new characters!

Well then, how do I get there?

To get backstage, you have to beat the game at least once (either on normal or hard mode. It doesn't matter), then go into the building where you can find the "Desk Man" and finally, look around Fazbear Hills.

You will find Fredbear. He will talk to you and open a portal to lead you Backstage, where you can find the Update 2 Characters.

Who is Desk Man?

Ok, basically, Desk Man is an unofficial name for the character which talks to you inside a building, enterable from Fazbear Hills.

Now then. LET THE GAMES... BEGIN!

Jack o' Bonnie

Who is this?

Jack o' Bonnie is variation of Nightmare Bonnie that appeared in Five Nights at Freddy's 4's Halloween Update.

He is a halloween-themed Bonnie with a hollow inside. His body glows orange. This variation of Bonnie is best compared to a Jack o' Lantern.

How do I unlock him?

These characters aren't unlockable the same way as the others. You have to complete a specific minigame, and they're yours!

To unlock Jack o' Bonnie, You have to finish the FNaF 57 Minigame without collecting all nine cupcakes. Grabbing most of them is ok, but if you grab them all, you won't unlock him. That's it. It's simple!

You'll have him with enough practice!

If you don't know, FNaF 57 was an April Fools joke on Scott's website which featured Freddy Fazbear in space. This minigame is a shooter with a space theme which replicates that joke within FNaF World.



Here are his moves:


Stuns enemies for a few seconds. Less effective on bosses.


Throws large amounts of pumpkins at the enemy.


Throws a sword that has a 1/10 chance of dealing 99999 damage

Jack o' Chica

Who is this?

Jack o' Chica, like Jack o' Bonnie, is a character which first appeared in FNaF 4's Halloween Update.

She is a halloween-themed variation of Nightmare Chica with a hollow inside. Her body glows orange, like Jack o' bonnie. She's best compared to a Jack o' Lantern. Instead of a cupcake, she carries a pumpkin around with her, which is also a Jack o' Lantern.

How do I unlock her?

To unlock her, you have to finish the Foxy Fighters minigame.

Foxy Fighters is a Star Fox-themed space shooter, where Foxy, JJ, Nightmare Chica and Toy Chica pilot biplanes to fight Souldozer, a character from one of Scott's earlier titles.



Here are her moves:


Stuns enemies for a few seconds. Less effective on bosses.


Throws large amounts of pumpkins at the enemy.


Throws a buzzsaw at enemies that does incredibly high damage.

Animdude/Scott Cawthon

Who is this?

Animdude is Scott Cawthon's online avatar. He is a blue man whose first appearance was in an earlier game of Scott's, there is no pause button. In FNAF world, he becomes a giant, 3-dimensional humanoid and fights you as the hard mode final boss.

How do I unlock him?

To unlock Animdude, you have to beat the Chica's Magical Rainbow minigame.

Chica's Magic Rainbow is a rage game where you control Chica and progress through an increasingly difficult map, all while being taunted and laughed at by the rainbow upon death.



Here are his moves:


Temporarily protects your party from attacks.


Virus that slowly drains life.


Powerful attack that pierces through defense.

Mr. Chipper

Who is this?

Mr. Chipper is a main character in one of Scott's earlier titles, Chipper and Son's Lumber Co.
He reappeared in FNaF World as a boss known as "Chipper's Revenge". He is an insanely tough boss with no indication of how much HP he has.

Mr. Chipper is a brown, cheerful-looking, anthropomorphic beaver who wears blue overalls. He has messy hair and whiskers.

How do I unlock him?

To unlock Mr. Chipper, you have to complete Chica's Magic Rainbow in under 3 minutes. Yeah. 3 minutes. Good luck.



Here are his moves:


Chance to transform enemies into weaker enemies.


Throws a buzzsaw at enemies that does incredibly high damage.


Summons a permanent mimic that duplicates any attacks used.

Nightmare Balloon Boy

Who is this?

Nightmare Balloon Boy (In my personal opinion) is the most terrifyingly freaky character in the whole FNaF series! He first appeared in FNaF 4's Halloween Update, replacing Plushtrap.

Nightmare BB is a small, child-like animatronic with a huge lower jaw, long, ugly fingers and sharp teeth. He's the second shortest nightmare and is easily the creepiest. He is in near-perfect condition, showing almost no signs of damage or age.

How do I unlock him?

Unlocking Nightmare BB is pretty tough. You have to score an A rank on Foxy Fighters, accomplished by taking almost no damage and defeating a ton of enemies. I got him after taking 3 hits and defeating 150 enemies, but it may be possible to unlock him with lesser results.



Here are his attacks:


Deals an incredible amount of damage to enemies.


Protects party from toxic effect.


Summons a large amount of balloons.

Nightmarionne

Who is this?

Nightmarionne is the nightmare variation of The Puppet. He's a tall, clown-like animatronic with three long fingers, one set of teeth on his mask and large, white pupils. He first appeared in FNaF 4's Halloween Update. He replaced Nightmare.

How do I unlock him?

Unlocking Nightmarionne is fairly easy. You have to win Foxy.exe, which is a Foxy-based parody of the ".exe" games. A ".exe" game is a horror game, such as Sonic.exe. You play as Bonnie and navigate a black void, whose only feature is a picture of Foxy.

Random high-tier attack.


Protects party from toxic effect.


Powerful attack that pierces through defense.

Coffee

Who is that?

Coffee's appearance in FNaF World is absolutely identical to his appearance in one of Scott's earlier games, The Desolate Hope.

He is a living coffee machine who carries a coffee pot with a handle on it inside them. He has two arms and two legs, a yellow eye with 4 prongs to resemble eyelashes and a long antennae.

How do I unlock him?

Coffee's unlock requirements may be even worse to meet than Mr. Chipper's. You must beat FNaF 57 without collecting A SINGLE POWERUP! Not even one... Yup. You read that right. None. Good luck if you can do it. I didn't have a chance.



Here are his attacks:


Puts a gift-box at the feet of each of the player's team members. When they die, it will automatically bring them back to life with full health.


Puts a status effect that slowly drains large amounts of life.


Places a wall that makes allies invincible for 5 seconds.

Purple Guy

Who is this?

Purple Guy is an evil murderer. He has killed multiple children and is the reason the crying child exists. FNaF 3 SPOILERS! After being haunted by the children he killed, he ran into the safe room of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and hid in the Spring Bonnie suit. It collapsed, killing him and forcing him to become Springtrap.

Purple Guy is a purple, pixelated, human-shaped sprite, similar to his appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's 3. He has thick, black eyebrows and white pupils. His mouth is black, like his eyebrows.

How do I unlock him?

To unlock Purple Guy, you need to complete the FNaF 57 Minigame with all 9 upgrades, represented as cupcakes. They are hidden around the level and some are VERY easy to miss.
When you know where they are, though, it's pretty easy. Just gotta know where to look.



Here are his attacks:


Temporarily increases the party's speed.


Throws a sword that has a 1/10 chance of dealing 99999 damage.


Chance to transform enemies into weaker enemies.

Did you know that you can get Backstage without ever having played FNaF World...? You can... And I know how...

To do it... you have to make sure that you have no save files... After that... you have to go to this spot in Fazbear Hills...



Now... All you have to do is hold "W" and "A" while standing in that very spot. You should eventually clip through the tree and end up at the Backstage graveyard. Purple Guy really wasn't lying...
