TTT Costco V1

Notice: This map requires you to have Counter Strike: Source. If you don't have it you are lame.

I made this map out of motivation of a steam friend and the ttt_bestbuy map. I decided to make a map with extra detail compared to best-buy I worked on this for about 1.5-2 weeks.

Just going to say this now. If your PC is a toaster you will NOT have a nice time on this map. The map is full of enitys. I am working on future updates to remove the necessary and optimize it further. If you look at the whole ♥♥♥♥♥ store your fps will drop. But if you are playing normally while on the ground or in the vents you should do fine.

Warning to people who may add this to their server! C4 Being detonated by destructible objects will cause fps drops. Not as bad as I thought it would be but definitely noticeable lasts about 1.5 seconds. I froze all object physics to fight any problems. So possesing a shelf will probably not make it move anyway. You can however move the fruit.

V2 Will hopefully include:
1. More bug fixes
2. More optimization
3. Traitor Tester (which the room is currently blocked off and has been made the spectator room)
V3 if there ever is one will probably have traitor traps.

I am not completely happy with the lighting but seems like it will do for now. I compiled this map without HDR because the map was too bright with HDR/ Caused props to look bright and white. The map looks wayy better without it anyway.



This map features a ♥♥♥♥ ton of custom textures which I packed into the bsp. If there are any missing textures please contact me.

V2 Roadmap
1. Traitor Tester.
2. Resize of the custom textures, some of them are bigger than 512x512 which is where I like to keep them. Should help optimization.
3. Ambient sounds/Soundscapes. (Ex, Wind or birds chirping, so that its not so silent and feels normal)
4. Remove enitys that are not needed/ Cleaning up extra items. ( I am assuming its furnature, might make the department smaller)
