20XX Zubr II Guided Missile Hovercraft

Description
"802 Maria Limanskaya" is a fictional maritime attack variant of the Zubr class LCAC, currently the world's largest.

Inspired by the huge and epic G.I. Joe playsets of old, it is fictionally deployed to provide transport and defensive support of remote Russian research outposts in FtD's theatre of operations. The Zubr II has significantly greater armor protection and offensive firepower than the actual vessel, at the cost of anti-aircraft coverage.

Armaments:
2x Gsh-47-6 Gatling guns optimized for horizontal direct fire
6x bow mounted IR homing lightweight attack missiles in 3 round retractable launch rails
16x broadside mounted, laser-guided mediumweight antiship missiles in 8 round retractable pods

Designer's Notes:
This reminds me of those huge GI Joe playsets!

Constructed for FtD Weekly Contest No.4, the competition lore involved the Zubr II being deployed to rescue endangered miniature giant space hamsters from lambspeeder prosecution.

However, the giant hamsters were too large to fit in the cargo bay...

It thus serves as an alternate reality guided missile hovercraft to accompany other conventional LCAC design submissions.

It's an old boat, probably not compatible with whatever physics updates happened since a year ago. Tweaking will be required for proper flotation. Back then it cruised at a stately 40 knots ON the water.

Like it's real world counterpart it does NOT have any heavy guns... BY DESIGN :P Blame the combat system in FTD, not the design.
Even the missiles are vastly buffed; real boat carries shoulder launched SAMs and that's it.

Tried this one today, it just stood up on it's end and waited for a marauder to ram into it. Even at point blank range the guns this thing has can't seem harm a marauder making it one of the weakest sitting ducks I've ever seen.

You got Żubr I got Bizon (outdated) . I do wonder, if they are genetically related. Well at least by the name. I think you may know what I mean ;)

To make a 'reattack capable' missile that swings around after it misses, use laser guidance and target prediction guidance with a very slow variable thruster and at least 2 fins. This allows 'lock on after launch' capability against air targets or other out of parameter shots impossible with direct fire.
