DownWind has been Greenlit!
DownWind is now in the Top 25!
Release date: Second Quarter 2016

Are you ready to leave your home? Little Leaf, Big Journey.

DownWind is a gaming experience that you don’t want to miss. Soar higher and higher, and use the wind to your advantage, as the most unlikely hero; a small green leaf ready for something more. Featuring;

  • Relaxing and Enjoyable Gameplay with Diverse Challenges to Overcome
  • A Narrative Set Over Many Beautiful Locations
  • Replayable Endless Mode
  • Co-Operative Experience
  • Cosmetic Items (no items requiring real life currency)
  • Original Soundtrack and Audial Experience
  • Narration by popular YouTuber; Cr1TiKaL

Be a part of the adventure of a leaf in a vast and atmospheric world. The forest you had called home has grown dark and dim; as an unknown threat has caused its inhabitants to fall down into the deep abyss, in a dangerous slumber. You will learn of your role in the tale of this forest -- but first you must find the courage to leave.

Your adventure will be narrated by the popular YouTuber; Cr1TiKaL (who is very talented at voice acting). Hear his delightful quips while you soar to new heights as the leaf who was destined for something more.

With only two buttons used to control the direction in which the leaf falls, you must use the wind and your forest friends to soar higher. With many different gameplay elements included in each chapter, an addictive endless mode and the ability to play with your friends in a co-operative experience, the game promises to be a fundamentally enjoyable experience. Mac and Linux support/compatibility is planned for post-release.

From pinecones to spiders, the world of DownWind will be full of threats for you to face and overcome. It’s all part of the journey.

With a consistently changing game world with many different distinct art styles, DownWind will be an artistic experience. From the haunting pond, to the enchanting cherry blossom tree, there will always be something beautiful to look at.

With hand-drawn visuals, with an emphasis on an organic yet artistic feel, the beauty of DownWind will not be easy to miss.

Let the world of DownWind grace your ears with an extremely enjoyable soundtrack and immersive sound design throughout.

The soundtrack will breathe a sense of life into the world of DownWind and it will trace the artistic vision that the game was made for. The sound design is created with love and care, with the importance being placed on creating organic and natural sounds to compliment the visuals DownWind presents.
