Playing History 3 - Vikings 100% Achievement Guide

A guide for getting all of the achievements in Playing History 3 Vikings.

Intro

There are two achievements that you cannot gain on the same playthrough, which is for choosing either all 3 of the Aesir or Vanir deities.

So we recommend you go with either one in your first playthrough. You have to collect 3 hammers to get one deity. There are a total of 9 hammers that you can find in the game.

Chapter 1

Archeologist

Inspect an item or a person

Inspector Worsaae

Inspect 20 items or persons (Can be the same thing 20 times)

Found a penny (Missable)

Collect 10% of all coins

Sword found (Storyline)

Find the sword
The sword is located after going through the church

Seer (Storyline)

Do 1 chrono bust
Use the chrono goggles on an object that is out of story time.

Coinnoiseur (Missable)

Collect 25 % of all coins

Hammer time! (Missable)

Collect 1 Hammer

Valentine Viking (Missable)

Reveal your feelings towards your loved one
When you have to pickup a barrel for Sigrid, she asks you to speak to Gunne Redbeard. When he asks you if you want to bring her a small present you have to choose 'Let me see what you have' and choose any of the 3 items.
Return to Sigrid and give her the barrel.

Drill Sergeant (Storyline)

Beat Tjorvi in a sparring session
You don't actually have to beat him to earn the achievement.

Child's Play (Missable)

Defeat Bjorn in combat.

Coin Collector (Missable)

50% of all coins

Love and War (Storyline)

Complete Chapter 2

Chapter 3

Farseer (Missable)

Do 4 chrono busts

Hammershark (Missable)

Collect 5 hammers

Battle scarred (Missable)

Defeat Lothar in combat
By the 3 guys talking in the ”middle” of the level, a cutscene occurs where a guy is running from the big long fence. SAVE HERE! When you talk with him, exhaust all options or select the correct answers if you know them (doesn’t matter) and you fight some mobs. (Credit to Falken for the text.)

Sword is Back (Storyline)

Find the sword again
After you get captured by the Germanic enemies you'll have to navigate through a maze. From the cage, go left, right and then left again and you'll see your sword near a tent with a campfire.

Choose 3 Aesir deities

Beat Olaf in a sparring session

Religion shopper (Missable)

Choose Christianity as your religion
After the trading voyage you'll start back at the English Beach. When the monk asks you what religion you have chosen, pick "Yes *Convert to Christianity*. Then you can pick a new God power. Choose the Christianity: God option.

God of Coins (Missable)

Collect 100% of all coins

Final fight (Storyline)

Defeat Bjorn in combat a second time
