Happy New Year from Goblin Harvest
Description
Release date: 2017
While the war rages to hold back a Goblin invasion, the King's Champion must embark on a desperate quest to save the kingdom.

Goblin Harvest - The Mighty Quest is a procedurally-generated Strategy RPG. It's like playing a board game and a "choose your own adventure" at the same time, where the two parts of the game connect and intertwine in a variety of exciting and intriguing ways.

Because it's procedurally generated, the game's designed to be played multiple times. Adjustable difficulty settings vary the challenge.

Features

Turn-based strategy, post-modern text adventuring, Goblin hordes, procedural randomness, board game mechanics, RPG progression, mortal combat, magic spells, NPCs, exploration, fortifications, camp fires, foraging, mining, tall tales, Elf and Dwarf Armies, a Goblin kitchen, horse riding, day & night, huge swords, seasons, hostile beds of nettles, deck-building, music and birdsong, magic mirrors, fishing, monster lairs, weather events, lost towns, Goblin Harvests, high scores, multiple difficulty levels, 2 player co-op, tutorial, designed for replayability

With the recent graphic polish, I think this old skool game is now ready for steam. Good luck!

Thanks lionhart. To see what it was like before, just have a look at the videos.

I just discovered this. I have no idea what the game looked like before the graphics upgrade but it looks really good now. Definitely something I would consider buying. I hope you make it into the store soon.

Thanks for the support, sarysa. There is a wiki for the game ("Elvipedia") which you can find at http://goblinharvest.gamepedia.com/Goblin_Harvest_Wiki. Not complete yet, I'm afraid, but it should help.

This takes me back to some 90's games. That lower left interface during exploration could use an interface upgrade, maybe a simple table of contents. A fullscreen "pedia" like the the Civ V Civopedia with search functionality would make for a great in-game manual as well.

Upvoted. Good luck.

What is it with elves and goblins lately? Dwarves are far better than Elves and are actually enemies of Goblins, unlike Elves.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and support so far. I've taken on board your views about the graphics and have commissioned a very talented artist to completely overhaul the whole thing. You may have noticed the game has a new logo - well, that's just the start. The work is expected to take a month or so but please, please keep voting 'yes' if you like the ideas behind the game. It is going to look wonderful! :)

I'm very interested due to the gameplay mechanics (they remind me of the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks which I read as a kid), however, as others have said, the graphics need to be of a higher standard.

A word of (hopefully) constructive criticism: the rounded corners in your message UI elements look very shoddy (e.g. the rounded corners on the message pop up that says "Ouch! 3 Damage").
