Metropolitan Sunken Wall 4 US

Description
Multi-purpose twin deck facade for midtown rivers, hotel areas or business districts. After Dark docks and piers can be connected to the walkways (manually). This asset is inspired by but not entirely based on the Chicago River.

This asset boosts land value within a very limited range. I set the maintenance costs quite low so they won't bankrupt you. :D The walls will attract a very low amount of tourists, so you will see a few peeps enjoying the view without creating a ton of traffic.

Asset Info

Service: Park
Cost: 1600
Upkeep: 9,60/week
Tourism: 1
Entertainment: 150
Range: 100
Cells: 2x1
Actual size: 8x7.5
Jumps power but does not require any.

Model Info

All the details I would normally bake into the textures are part of the geometry.
All underground parts use the generic concrete shader.
~ 3500 Poly, 4000 Verts
200 Tris LOD
512x512 Diff, Spec & Color (only used to darken the concrete)
64x64 LOD

I tried attaching more props and lights but they tend to sink through the model. :(

Placement

For best results build alongside roads on flat terrain and terraform. The waterbound side of the wall as well as the rounded extrusions on the sides have no collision. You can angle them up to 90 degrees without showing any terrain.

I'm sharing some screenshots of how you could build paths through the lower decks; this can be very finnicky and easy to break! Don't try if you aren't willing to be precise and redo parts when needed.

EUROPEAN STYLE VERSION

I have tested some of the existing walls and walkways and found the following ones blend together really well:

Waterfront Walkways

These ones in particular by Tair have the same depth and wall alignment, they look really nice next to these!

Hello, I wanted to know if this asset can be used without the Terraform Tool 0.9?

Hello @CGVos, my name is Fernando I am from Argentina. I am communicating with you because I saw your work and it seemed fantastic. I want to do something similar to my own waterfront, but I don't know how, I can use sketchup, vray, photoshop, and more, but I don't know how to convert my 3d model so that it can be integrated into a park. I would like to know if you could briefly explain to me how you did, or what are the steps to follow. From already thank you very much.

Well, this is the only asset I use for walkways and decorating my seafront. But would really appreciate if someone made a video tutorial on how to use this asset correctly.:steamhappy:

Wonderful. Now could you add a corner piece so we can also use it as a retaining wall?

I can't find these anywhere in the game menu. I can find all the other quays besides the other way.

Okay so, I'm not seeing the problem with this asset, I can still plop it anywhere and terraform the surrounding area. I have been looking into making these into quay assets, it's possible, but it tends to deform the meshes a lot...

I haven't tested this asset lately so I'll have to go back and see what's causing this problem and how I can fix it. It's probably caused by one of the latest updates...

Question: with road modding coming tomorrow with the free update and including templates like the vanilla quay, what are the chances of converting these walls (and the EU ones) into 'dragable' seawalls? Will it be possible?
