Support for different trailers
With AVE you are now able to create trains with different trailers/back engines or double articulated buses. Read this guide how you do it.
Here you find a list of vehicles created with AVE using the different trailer feature.

You can change the following variables:

m_acceleration - Modifier for acceleration. Higher value means faster accelaration.
m_braking - Modifier for braking. Higher values means better brakes.
m_dampers - Editing may reduce swaying.
m_springs - Editing may reduce swaying.
m_turning - Modifier for cornering. Higher value means higher corner speed.
m_leanMultiplier - Tilts the model while turning. 0 means no tilt.
m_nodMultiplier - Tilts the model while accelerating or braking. 0 means no tilt.

Light Editor
You can add or remove lights with it. Use the buttons or the input fields to positioning the lights.

Lights by vehicle type:
- Aircraft: 6 lights, #1 red (for left side), #2 green (for right side), #3 white (for the back), #4 + #5 flashing white (for right and left) #6 unsure.
- Ship: 4 lights, #1 red (for left side), #2 green (for right side), #3 + #4 white (for the back and top)
- Most other vehicles have 2 lights: #1 + #2 white front headlight. (police has 4 and ambulance/firetruck have 6, unsure what purpose)
- Bicycle: 1 light, #1 front headlight
- Trucks: 4 lights, all front headlights

Known Issues

Wagons in picture 2 and 3 were made by MrMaison.
Train in picture 4 was made by Shroomblaze.
Bus in picture 6 was made by DANZ | D3S DESIGN.

#6 light at airplanes is the landing front light. should be positioned shortly over the front wheel to look realistic when planes are landing at night.

@DontCryJustDie - I'm guessing you already know this, but the save functionality is broken with the new update (Mass Transit). Everything else seems to work, but you can't save a vehicle with any AVE features, as we're forced to use the vanilla game save function.

Can't save either. Doesn't freeze there's just nothing happening.

Hey, this is a great mod, but as of recently, I can no longer save assets using this mod. When I click the Save button, it freezes a little and then does nothing.
I see this mod hasn't been updated in months, maybe the Natural Disasters update broke something? Thanks!

Dreamy- I'm having trouble downloading that file. Any other download locations? That site is not friendly with my downloader IDM.

Protip: Get

This mod (a great mod by the way for its time) hasn't been updated since 12 Mar. ^That's a better alternative. And if you're not yet convinced, unsubscribing from this one fixed the issue of my props using colour variations despite the option being disabled.

You can use this fixed version until the mod gets updated:

It also tries to fix some duplicate asset errors, which may occur for slightly variated assets (e.g. train variants with different trailer count).

To be copied into your local mod folder, on windows:
<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods

Dont forget to disable AVE.

it looks this mod can not save the content after new game version released...
