It’s been only five short weeks since the last time these two sides met, and so much has changed for both sides since that date.

For the Titans, they were still missing many key players because of the preseason drug scandal, and that manifested itself in the 40-0 loss they took the Panthers in Round 2. Those key players have returned since that game, and the Titans are sitting on a two-game win streak.

The Panthers started the season well this year, but only one win from their last four matches has the Panthers in danger of missing the Top 8 this year. After three-straight losses, a win last weekend against Manly was much needed for Penrith.

The Titans have made one change for this match, with hooker Beau Falloon returning from a two-game suspension. He will replace Eddy Pettybourne in the side, with Kierran Moseley set to drop to the bench.

The Panthers have been forced into one major change, as Jamal Idris was lost for the season last weekend with an ACL injury. Robert Jennings, younger brother of Michael, will make his NRL debut in the number four jersey.

The Titans have had the better of the Gold Coast in their short history, winning seven of the 11 clashes between the two sides, including Round 2’s 40-0 triumph. The Titans have been terrible at home in recent times as well, only winning 10 of their last 26 home games, including only one of their last twelve.

Prediction
The Panthers will start as very slight favourites in this game, so I guess I’m tipping the upset. The Titans looked very good in dismantling the Eels last weekend, and I think the Panthers injury list is a little too long this weekend."
